In your case you are calling on Jesus's God, instead of Oyedepo's. Darling girl, whats the difference? You have placed at least 1 barrier between you and the God you intended to call on in the first place.
Find a way to have a personal relationship with Him, the God that you intended to call on, not through Jesus being in the middle, but exactly like the personal contact and relationship had with Him. Thats what I do.
I am a muslim. So I am in the same league of worshipper, as Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, etc (AS). I do not erect any of them between me and God. I am inviting you to Islam. Join me, sis.

@ Gamine, I'm not sure if u read the entire post. But even a winner's chapel member confirms this: think his Screen Name is Prizeless I 'm a winner and nobody prays In the God of Bishop Oyedepo. It is In the name of the of the God of Bishop David Oyedepo and there is nothing wrong with that. You hear phrases like the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Job, the God of David and so on. This is because this men have identity with God and there are proofs backing this up.
So, why not the God of Oyedepo ,
This are men of proofs and for sure He will answer to u
So guys, step up and see the God of Bishop Oyedepo answer to you. |

I don't know what he is talking about really.
i have attended Winners chapel for more than 12yrs.
and i have never prayed in the name of the God of Oyedepo.
People just like to do eye, ear and mouth service.
People just say things like that when they are giving testimonies

They never replaced JESUS with Oyedepo!
What they did, i believe, was to add GOD of Oyedepo, to Master of the Universe, King of Glory, Creator of all Heaven & Earth et al!
The Name JESUS is constant! So please tell me what is wrong with such prayers!?
IMO, the congregation is only tapping into GOD's grace in the poor man's life, just like we all do when we pray in the Name of GOD of Abraham & Co.
They certainly finish up their prayers in The Mighty Name of JESUS @ winners! This, i know for sure!!

Me, i pray in Jesus name. There is no need to add any body's name to it. I have a Relationship with my Father what has anybody else gast to do with it. Being associated with those peeps wont carry me to heaven, so why waste prayer space |
