One of my colleague was offered roughly 3000 trade in price for the SUV that was bought new in December/January. It is large and takes up space. I can't even tell if it is a Ford or a Lincoln. I guess the reason is because the dealership doesn't want it. I guess enduring the lease is the only way out.
Americans aren't throwing it away, they are actually stuck with it. 3/4 of new Ford and GM owners don't own their vehicles but lease it.
Nigerians shouldn't complain, gas is cheap. Govt. is subsidising more than 80% of the price.

Nigerians are not complaining, at least not about the size and the comfort. Not even about the gas-guzzling.
It's only the security situation in Naija that gets us worried.

I wouldnt say that really. Just that "Navigator" means "money". note that i mentioned the niger delta in the earlier post. early this year, kidnap of kids being driven to school in this kind of car was really rampant in port harcourt. that was the basis of my fear. other than that, this car is too tempting for the price.

I understand. Youu are referring to haters that take their guts to the next level. It is more of creating an unneeded attention than actually the purpose it serve. The same use to happen in Lagos two decades back. You are a wse fellow then. I don't and wouldn't blame you.
