Its definitely Odili of Rivers and Chimaroke of Enugu. This two are way ahead of the rest. If this two are properly investigated, I tell u the whole world will go mad at what will be exposed.

To me the worst governors are not those governors that did one or two things for their State, but those that has done nothing. Odili and Nnamani are not good but not as bad as some others like Dariye, Lucky, Sam Egwu, and the rest these are people who spend their state's money on workshops and seminars

the list are endless

i ll mention just a few,

Peter Odili

Ken Chimaroke Nnmani, I am damn sorry, ken is just too good that i had to mistake him with te stupid chimaroke

Akala

Victor Attar

Dariye

Ibori

dupriye himself

Igbinedion himself

i ll give you my reasons and proof if u so care

If the Q was the best gov.

I ll start with Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed tinubu ofcourse, gbenga Daniel (even though he is like an instrument), Donald Duke, Fayose and many others.

And the greatest mistake would be for ogunlewe to gov lagos come 2007 and yerima or Peter Odili to run nigeria. it would be a mess i say.

The most prominent nominees would include;
1. Gov Bola Ahmed Tinubu 0f Lagos - Keep decieving the people, they are probably blinded to the poor state of affairs in Lagos by your Jiggi Bola.
2. Gov Ibrahim Saminu Turaki of Jigawa - The only governor ever to "successfully" govern his state from abroad.
3. Gov Gbenga Akala of Oyo - An area boy in power.
4. Gov Ibrahim Shekarau of Kano - Thanks to him, Nigeria now boasts 79% of the world's polio cases.
5. Gov Boni Haruna of Adamawa - Truly Adamawa is a land of unparalled "beauty", and a symbol of the dividends of democracy; corruption!

It is most unfortunate that the award can only go to one person, 36 separate awards would have been more appropriate

The political killings and extinction of any form of opposition, to mention but two.

The worst governor should surely go to Lucky Igbinedion of Edo state. The few tarred roads in the state capital are full of endless potholes not to talk of the unmotorable earth roads all over. You take a drive round the town and you wonder where the federal allocation for the state goes, there's almost nothing in terms of infrastructure, development or anything for that matter.

Throughout my five years in uniben the only thing that can be construed as development in benin city is the state library complex constructed along sapele road.

I think Bukar Abba Ibrahim, Yobe State Governor should be crowned. No single project to show, no development project for the poeple. And to top it all the state is a corruption grown for corrupt government personels. You will want to believe that corruption is legalize in Yobe State.

We have a criminal strong-man sitting in power in Delta State -- James Ibori. I think he should be chalked up high on the list. . .

It is quite clear that no one governor has a clear edge over all his peers in the race for the worst performing governor award, maybe it would be fair to declare the race a tie and give medals to all 36 governors!

Bravo,  Davidylan  Grin. It's so unfortunate that the only awards we can give to our leaders are 'corruption awards.'

I don't want to start on illiteracy and the representatives from the Northern states.

Men! 36 strong contenders for just one crown. i think we should just make copies of it and share it all out because they all deserve it.
ps: Yerima of Zamfara deserves special recognition, was there for a whole year and believe me, those people are still in the 18th century.
