Have You Ever Hit Your Significant Other?
« on: July 10, 2008, 05:06 PM »

I'm not talking about abuse. But have you ever just flew off the handle and reacted, or came close to it?

What was the outcome?

Yeah once. . .  And it felt GOOOODDDD!
She emptied her white wine on my body in public, i quietly wiped myself with my hanky, then i emptied my whole stout on her face, but she didnt have a hanky to clean up, it felt good because i won the mental fight - she wanted to humiliate me in public but got humiliated instead because all them guys were clapping for me as i walked out Grin Grin Grin

While recognizing the naivety in this post I'l do it anyway.

Yeah (An Ex). First and only time. very Heated quarel. had Parried quite a view then she hit me in the eye (My brain shut down) One Hit . Punched the Door and walked out. Worst quarel I've ever had with a lady (Now whoever the person is won't see me to exchange words with talkless it degenerating into a fight). Apologized for a whole month. I think she 4got the issue way longer before I did.

We're became tighter (then). She actually was the one given excuses for me, Ladies y do u do that?

Maybe hit is a harsh word. Have you ever strong-armed them, choked them, really scared the crap out of them with your facial expression?

Yes. There was once while we were still serving (served in one bush in Osun State). She left the village for NCCF meeting in Oshogbo, even when I told her I did not think it was safe. Her other friend she went with insited they stay till the program ended only to leave her alone at the venue (she latter spent the night with her boyfriend) while my girlfriend was stranded at the motor park in Ife at almost 9 o clock at night (God knows what would have happened if bad guys were there and she did not even stay at the NCCF 'safe house').I asked her if the place was busy and she said she was the only one there and that she was afraid. Luckily something told me to go to Ife to see my firends that served in OAU that same day and I decided to spend the night. That was when she called to tell me she was stranded in a bus stop in Ife. When I went to get her I felt like KILLING HER. I mean I was contemplating between pushing her in front of an oncomming car or just strangling her to death. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

God was I angry that day.

@ dabriggs. I'm glad you didn't hit her, but your facial expression must have said it all. I'm sure she understood.

I have o!

During sex. smack that a,  Wink

But on a more serious note, I love my girlfriend too much to even shout at her let alone hit her.
If we have a misunderstanding, I simply walk out, wait for her to calm down, return and then we talk like civilised adults.

Violence of any sort is not an option for me. I'm too busy loving to fight

i didnt hit him because i was angry with him. in fact he was trying to comfort me but i just wanted to be left alone. but if it is all the same with you, i rather leave that chapter of my life closed and locked.
