i am irked, i cant say i am in rage but i am irked

barely had 3hours sleep,i wish i could say it

was the glorious mauling of Manchester united

that caused it, but that would be a lie, i cant be bothered

by who lifted the cup yesterday, as long as it aint the blues

went to see the match(in between chatting with a lady

who wants 4men to herself on an island). .got home around

10:30,took about an hour to settle in, to sleep. . .wakeup time

4:30am alas,ariblaze proposes my useless neighbor disposes

started hearing, screams, shouts and scuffles,i tried ignoring it

the thing just wont go away, peeped from the window, saw my neighbor's and his wife at it

shite!!! this punk never learns,had to scour for boxers and joggers(remember the state i sleep)

went downstairs it took the better part of 25minutes to get them separated,the wife was hell bent on not letting him go

the husband, was like a baboon who sees the offer of a banana hanging by a poachers barrel, and still wont take heed

cloths torn,with heaving chests. . .just 5 of us were present at the scene,the generators blaring everywhere dint allow

the sounds of the scuffle carry far,i hold the wife, shield her from the husband who proceeds to storm off and the reason

for the fight was explained to me by the wife, husband cheats consistently with another woman in the neighborhood

gets caught by wife and then proceeds to beat her, the most hilarious thing here was that all the time wife was explaining

husband , was busy storming into his house and packing his stuff ,into the car, one of the other peeps there a lady now said

wo ti fi ori e si abe. . . loosely translated the husband is under a spell. . . me i don't believe that one sha,

i feel the husband is an ass who got caught making a monkey out of himself

and instead of taking the high road out, by pleading and taking whatever his wife hurls at him

took the low road of morphing into the animal most men have caged or locked within them

this couple have a kid and i was up doing mediator till 2am. . .hating every minute of it

even after i left , they still scuffled in the house , had to go back down to evict a swear outta the hubby he wont touch his wife

the life of the super hero ariblaze. . . . never a boring moment and sadly never a peaceful moment to sleep

i am sad

sad for my country,sad for my people

sad for my environment

and sadder for me

this might stem out of many things as i remain confused

i ask my self this am i human(scratch that)

i ask myself this,am i a normal human?

this is a new job,and i am dead tired

i loathe coming here every day, a year ago

this was the dream job,don't confuse this for ambitiousness i am tired of this job

plain and simple, i want something else. . .the pay isnt even fueling all my excesses and the some

why should i have a job, whose pay wont fuel/cater for all the material excesses i have/crave?

not good, a job i dont feel happy over. . .i am not i assure you

5days ago my paternal and only existing grandmother passed

back in the days she was my ally against popsy

he car i would go to use whenever my old man

grounds my car due to one offense or another by me

a guaranteed cash reserve for me, even if the money just buys a round for me and my boyz

she could get on my nerves too,especially with her constant reminding of how i removed

chewing gum from my mouth and closed it with the pages of a bible, the bible she willed to me whilst still alive

now she is gone, and i don't even feel a thing. . . i have searched my mind for a feeling of loss but

i haven't found one, a close friend says it has probably not hitme(i honestly doubt it would hit me)

does this make me self absorbent an island . . . .unfeeling,insensitive,incapable of emotions ?

this scares me. . . .

i am glad though that she has left for a better place

that God would have one more person to nag him

that my guardian angels now have to sit up

for grandma wont let them rest

my mind and being filled with the turmoil and emotions

written previously,i set to work,dint drive nor ride thier

was at the mercy of the staff bus,the last for the day

leaves lekki by 9:15pm,that was my bus last night

settled in,by bullying everyone to a row of seats smack in the middle of the bus

joined seats together used labtop bag as a makeshift pillow, picked up my phone

started a long conversation with the 'she who makes my heart go thump thump thump'

for the next 44minutes i was oblivious to surroundings partly due to the engrossing conversation

partly due to the tinted windows and curtains in the bus,after 44minutes of conversation her

phone gave up. . . .which brings me to this 'does anyone know how to break a phone hex'

after falled attempts at connecting her, i glanced out of the window,expecting ikeja,where did i see

dolphin estate,barely 10clicks from lekki,furiously i looked in front,sea of red lights emanating as breaklights

filled the horizon,it would have being beautiful if i was not angry . . .

by now it was past 10,had i chosen to work from there across the 3rd mainland,i doubt i would be termed a fool

all through oworonsoki,decided to raise the mum and reward her with lengthy gist, alas last night wasn't my night

we kept on snaking at a snail's pace through to the toll gate then berger,by this time the luminous dial of the clock

indicated 10minutes to a new day. . . .there goes the indian movie i wanted to watch as soon as i got home

got to ogba 12:30am, stumbled into my house by 13minutes to one. .



by 4:30am i was up

by 6:20am i was at work

by 10am i was beyond tired

now i am in a trance . . . . albeit a drugged one




so please help me

what am i supposed to be feeling right now?
