Visafone Can't Keep Promises?
« on: July 12, 2008, 08:37 PM »

Hello all

I need to know from visafone EVDO subscribers.
What do you get while downloading from the internet in terms of kilobits per seconds

I was promised a 300 kilobits per second which means when i have a single download process running,
the download rate should be moving close to 37.5 kilobyte per second.

but instead, i get 14 kilobyte/second max on their gold plan.

I was at their office and even with the evdo full bars there, the download never exceeded 14 kilobyte/second which should be a sliver plan services

I subscribed based on the info i got from a thread here about their good download rate

anyone had similar experiences?

Hey that's not a new thang, The throughput of these networks is always nothing close to what they tell you.
