Try GTBank, you must first open a current account, then Domiciliary account. I use GTB and I enjoy their services

I also recommend GTBank. I've been operating my dorm account for a year plus and it's been smooth sailing. No hidden/dumb charges, everything is put plain on the table for you to see.
It would be unfair for me to compare GTBank's dorm acct to other bank's dorm since i only use GTBank. There'D just be no basis for comparison.

i STRONGLY recommend GTBank. i trade forex and use my dom acc for wire transfer. almost a year now NO problems whatsoever. when i opened the dollar account, they also opend for me current and savings accts and also GB pounds and EURO accts.
-No minimun accout balance,
-easily fund my forex accts.
i don't have dom acct with other banks now but some of my trainees in Forex opened dom acct with some other banks and most of them are not HAPPY.
GTBank please.

MasterCard inclusive when u request wit which i do my online
payments.
cool bankin halls, never too much people.
sms alerts, monthly statements in2 ur email.

It is not necessary for you to open current account before you can open Domiciliary account in GTBank. For me I only open Domiciliary account with them without having current account. GTBank is the best when it comes to domiciliary account! |

Try GTBank. As far Dom acc is concerned GTBank is the best. I opened mine with them with easy and have not heard any problem operating it.

Tha bank has a very bad reputation in terms of customer service. If they are unable to perform in normal savings and current accounts, how then can they perform in stuffs dom accounts?
A Dom account is a very technical thing. U need a dynamic bank to be able to handle stuffs like wire transfers and your mastercard stuff. Remember that if u have a dom account, you'll likely be communicating with your bank via emails and phone calls because you'll likely be out of the country. I don't see UBA being able to respond to your emails talk less of responding on time!
You should have gone to GTBank right from the word go!

I use Sterling Bank Plc for my wire transfer and I must confess I had no problem with the bank. My lawyer friend uses GTB to transfer money to my account in Canada and it takes an average of 48 hours while Sterling Bank is same day(within 24 hours considering 5 hours time difference). Nobody has talk about timeliness here if GTB is the best bank for dorm account. Sterling Bank is faster in wire transfer

Well it may have turn out so because i went to GTB to open one and i was told that I could get one dom account up and running in about a mnth all things being equal.

Jus opened a dom acct wit GTB based on recommendations. I opened both Current acct and the dom acct the same day. U don't have to wait for 6mths before opening a dom acct. Four years is a long time ago and so many things might have changed in term of improvements. You can open with 0 naira and start getting money inside later When I opened my domiciliary account with them, I supplied them the following: 1. Means of identification and utility bill, for example, international passport (or National ID card) 2. NEPA bill 3. Two referees to sign for u 4.
