10 - 12 Months Contract For An Excellent Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

-Identifying and securing resources and budgets and creating and managing project plans.
-Keeping all projects stakeholders informed of progress  and changes by controlling risks and budgets
-Reviewing project deliverables before passing on to clients.
-Ensuring project documents are complete and stored in a methodical and appropriate way.
-Tracking all project hours and costs.
-Ensuring resources are working to plan and within budget.
-Obtaining sign off from customer on completion of a deliverable.
-Ensuring all work adheres to the company policies, safety rules, statutory regulations and customer requirements.
-Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Education and Experience

- A good first degree from a recognised University. (Engineering or Project Management degrees are an added advantage)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a project Manager in a construction job.
- Extremely computer literate and able to use any project management software.

- Initiative: Self starter who takes ownership and acts pro-actively to make things happen in the company. An individual who is happy and enthusiastic in  taking control of the role and delivering with minimal interference.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, makes a personal impact, listens actively and is able to articulate thoughts convincingly in both verbal and written forms. must be particularly good in report writing.
- Time Management & Results: Aligns activities & resources to achieve goals within changing parameters; gets things done to the highest level of quality and impact; systemically monitors achievements/progress of execution and seeks ways of continuously improving.
- Analytics: Able to understand the complexities. makes a sound problem assessment and crystallises the issues, breaks down complexities into concrete tasks and activities with a strong attention to detail.
