I think in terms of reffering to every African country as Africa is ignorance that most people have happily developed. I was in Ghana on trip for a month and some people said Africa the whole time. It is racism if you think of it. How insignificant are most countries in the African continent that they cannot be called by their name. Egypt and South Africa are one of the few referred by the name rather than Africa.
I hate the media alot inregards to that. They portray the worst aspect of the continent. Ignorance is infectious and the Western media are a major part of what has been spreading ignorant beliefs about African countries.

Now thats what i kall thinking outside d box, man, u run tins i swear, what will it take or kost a media firm or group to use d word zambia, nigeria, etc, u mentioned only egypt and south africa, u left out the one hot nation in the news recently, ZIMBABWE, it has become so popular via media hype that u need not mention its name anymore, just think, "MUGABE", and d map komes up in ur mind's picture, thanks for ur contribution!
