@ ty4real

Point of correction: am not an arik employee and I'm not forcing anyone to fly arik. Who am I not to allow anyone to exercise his freedom after all God in his wisdom gave us the freedom of choice.
I'm only trying to correct a misguided impression peddled carelessly here. that arik is unsafe but that is not true.
Hopefully lets hear ur experience when u fly arik. don't forget to post your experience here for doubting thomasas to see.

Regards!

After hearing some customer feedback, maybe I'll consider it.

I am patriotic, but there is nothing patriotic in losing one's life in a plane crash.

If Arik carries on and maintains the new aircraft and receives international certifications approving its systems and processes, then I believe they will be successful in the long run, regardless of what anyone says. The quality of service will speak for itself.

My airline of choice still remains Air France. Screw British Airwaste, Virgin Atlantic & Nigeria, Delta Airlines, Alitalia (really sucked), North American Airlines sucks.

Air France is garbage

I used to like them. Used to defend them

But this year they have been complete trash. I'm in the process of helping my mom get a refund because those Air France morons charged her twice

Make matters worse the plane was delayed for 2.5 hrs in Paris.

seriously screw 'em.

BA is retarded too. Delta's losing its' customers. Lufthansa sucks

Only hope is Virgin Atlantic

iv flown Arik once. It's the best flight iv been on ever. It even beats d internationls. All hail Arik. D worst were chachangi and BA. I never feel so unsafe on any plane like i feel on BA. I wonder if they even care about d quality of the planes as they don't care about d fliers.

Tried and tested airlines for me thank you, and if it means having insecticide sprayed over me so be it ( I believe Virgin Atlantic still do this on their Lagos-London flights)  I can whinge about it but I will rather endure 6 hours of an air hostess ignoring me than an airline that hasn't been put through exhaustive load lasting.

Many years ago due to patriotism & cost I flew Nigeria Airways front London to Lagos. Not a lot shocks me but I was certainly shocked to find out that the plane itself was an old ex air Iceland  plane. The roof was leaking so they had to move passengers around and the film was in Icelandic language. I later caught the air hostess stuffing her bag with left over airline food!

I have travelled on most of the airlines that ply the London-Lagos Route and to be fair to them all I don't think any is better than the other. It just takes 1 silly ignorant flight attendant to ruin your experience of the airline. The way I look at it is these airlines are providing me with a service which I wouldn't have been able to achieve on my own, Yes I am paying for the service and Yes the customer is always right, but it doesn't work that way in the airline industry,  after all we can't drive to Lagos. So I just sit back in my seat, Pray for a safe flight, put my head phones on and get on with it.
