y? i don't know how benin people spk pidgin shaa but i dey bow for waffi peeps their own To me, the way pidgin is spoken in Warri sounds almost musical. Different intonations and all that stuff. The same pidgin in Benin is more forceful and explosive. I should know: I lived in both towns.

Busta u say pidgen deh rude? I tire for you o There are matters you can settle without sweat in Pidgen than English. Me I feel English is more rude than Pidgen. Proper English- "Please don't be upset but I can't make it to your place today". In pidgen- "Abeg no vex say i no fit come today. u hear?" English- "I don't care" Pidgen - "Me no send o"

pidgin is something i speak with my mates,my friends. I never spoke that language in the house. And i can never speak it to my dad. If i had tried that , my people would have thought i was running mad. Till today i do not even speak that to my brother or sisters. Even if we go out together and speak pidgin to other people , we do not do that when we adress our selves.

rude, me i don't see anythn rude in it, as long as u know who u speak it to, u can't expect me to speak it to a friends dad or watever, as long as the person who u are speaking it to approves of it then its not rude,

Abeg people it's no big deal speaking pidgen neither is it rude to do so. I speak pidgen to my mum especially but my dad once in a blue moon. I can say things like " Men daddy, e get as e be o" and we'll laugh. It's NO BIG DEAL To the question, "How many of you speak pidgen to your parents?" I'm one of them
