can anyone please tell me what it entails to chip a PS2 game console please ? does the console need to be opened before chipping ? stuffs like that. i just need details, probably some genius in here has a good idea on how it is done. thanks. i have PS2s for sale. i taught most of the ps2 console owners in nigeria uses pirated ps2 game discs, do u mean they all buy original discs.how much is a ps2 game disc sold for in nigeria,both new and pirated ones, am just curious

right now i buy original dvd-roms because i haven't chipped my console.
they range from about 5k - 14k.
pirated games go for about 500 bux.
u can only play pirated games on a chipped console.

u don't need a genius, all u need are those self-styled console "engineers" to mod your game. yes, u have to open the console to mod/chip it but u don't always need solder because the DMS4 EZI doenst require lead and solder heater. anyway the DMS4SE is the best modchip for yer ps2. the best solution is to take it to those same engineers and have them rig it up for u because it can be messy if u don't know how to do it. anyway check this out. www.modchip.com/ps2/pictures.htm |

u can only play pirated games on a chipped console.
nah, your assumption is incorrect you can play enventually all dics on a chipped ps2 except the compact disc whic is not compartible with the ps2 i ve chiped my ps2 and xbox 360 and they work pefectly well. my ps2 plays both original and pirated dvds. IF the chipped ps2 doesnt plays orignal dvd games after being chiped, then the game technician is definately a QUACK. chip for the ps3 is been awaited. more info?: |
