you are not using the 3G. no deceive yourself. download speed on MTN 3G is always above 800kb/s

i mean this doesnt make an sense, MTN fastlink  or watever they call it sucks,
this is my worst ever browsing program, its lyk snail speed, neva seen anything lyk this,
and to think dat it was someone dat suggested this,

c'mon men!!! lets be realistic here, its a rip-off, i didnt pay 25gees, for the USB E170 modem, for dat,
i'm even lucky i can send this post, am @ enugu ,it just doesnt make sense

Maybe there is no 3.5G/HSDPA coverage at Enugu. When there is no 3.5G coverage, it switches to 2G - GPRS or EDGE. That should be the reason why you are experiencing poor reception.

Hey everyone,
i bought MTN 3 G 2 month ago. it was going great , so fats and never disconnect.but lately, since 10 days, i'm having verry bad connection, it always disconnect each 10 minutes. and sometimes i cant open it at all. i called the mtn they said they're upgrading the service.i live in PH. my friend from kano is having da same prob so it's not from my usb or lap.
does anyone know anything abt tht? and when they will finish upgrading. cuz it sucks.i ddn browse anything since 10 days.

Yes, it is a general problem. Give them some time and all should be fine. Their data network has grown exponentially within the past few months and this has made such comprehensive network upgrade inevitable.

Please Help me out, I want to connect to the MTN 3G network night plan with my Phone as modem, I got Nokia 6030b with a CA 45 USB cable but The driver isnt working and my PC cannot locate the USB, Can anyone help me out here,

On the other hand I have Nokia 6600 which I want to use as another option to connect via Bluetooth but my Laptop does not have Bluetooth.I tried to download Bluesoleil but I'm not sure how to go about it, CAn any one help out with either of the two, I hate my MULTILINKS, Its Snail Slow,

Right now MTN fastlink is very terrible; it disconnects as it likes and sometimes immediately you connect you are disconnected.

mtn 3g service is in a state of chaos now. i still get 350kb/s but just for some seconds and then it disconnects. It just disconnected as i was typing this so before i hit the "Reply" button i'll have to reconnect first.
