how do u know which church/religion is true/right/best Firstly there is only one true religion!! God is not a God of confusion. The scriptures help us understand that "By this all will know that you are my disciples if you have love amongst yourselves", again it says "he who does not love has not come to know God 'because God is Love" The true religion preaches, teaches and lives Love. And what is love: Its not the carnal degraded sexual love that the world has perverted, It is the unselfish Agape love. A love based on principles. An unselfish love. If religions preach, teach and live this kind of love, wars, greed and crime will be non-existent If leaders demonstrate this kind of love, corruption, favoritism, deceit and fraud will be unheard of!! But as it is, a lot is wrong with all the churches, their teachings and the lifestyle of the so called leaders. God does not approve of such and they shall meet their waterloo soon. God's kingdom will be the only remedy!! See you again,  |

I just went through this post.
I have to ask. What is Church? Now that seems like a easy question, the sort of question one might answer in an simple sentence or two. "A church is a building in which Christians meet for worship," is one obvious possibility. "A church is a group of believers in Jesus Christ, associated together, under Christ, for His purposes.
BODY OF CHRIST
EPHESIANS 1:22-23 NKJ
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
1 TIMOTHY 3:15 NKJ
15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
The Church is the Body of Christ, and the dwelling place of God, according to these verses. |
