Na Lie ! Starcomms Izap no go kill me with downloading. My desktop of 160GB don full, my laptop 120GB na remain only 2GB remain. My Bearshare, Azureus, Emule and IDM are going at Warp 7 (that's the speed of light times 7 for those star trek newbies). A BIG ! BIG !! BIG !!! factor that i have seen time and time again is that your EVDO signal determines your speed. A guy browsing with 5 full bars will get faster download speeds than somebody with 3 bars. Whether you are using USB, expresscard or pcmcia doesnt matter. Make sure you get somebodys izap to your place and determine the type of signal you are getting before buying one.

starcomms has EVDO REv A in ABJ. download speeds are better when you are using a compatible modem.

U guys are very funny, U act as if no b nija we dey. This guys will roll out well in the beginning, but their greatest problem is maintaining it. Haven't u guys learnt your leasons from other telecoms i.e(yellow, green, red, purple, e.t.c) before this 1? Well as for me I'm not suprise at all. Very soon d cost of der modem will b dropped aswell der monthly subcribtion because that's the only strategy dey need to keep their customer on their network. Now Etisalat is next.

i use the EVDO and it has been like hell for me. With Izap, it is just an improved state of EDVO but cannot go faster than its limit.

It still mean you are on Evdo Coverage, but a 1x speed Capable connection too . .

Your Evdo can drop/switch to 1x @ anytime, . .

even @ this , your speed culd reach the EVDo's   Wink
