@ specialist, the fee increase is to generaly upgrade the welfare of staff, both academic and non academic and also to improve on the available learning facilities.

@ Dr.tony, such swaping would ave been done in the past not now, so why bother about me.

I think so, it's a good choice but pray u r not fined an amount more than your sch fee til u graduate. Cos i heard a final yr guy was fined N200,000 for one offence he comited.

Punishable by law in a sch should b expulsion and not outrageous fine  (in cash). Are they desperately in need of cash? do they need d money to pay lecturers. I think EFCC should b invited in2 this. This should b christened Unlawful extortion of nigerian citizens

Bluegal r U aware that Madonna Degree=O.N.D.So beta quit cos U r wastin your resources.Madonna needs 2 be shutdown by the N.U.C.Its way too sub-standard.Running unacredited course is too disasterous.Madonna is a complete Fiasco.

How else do we say this? @bluegal,  i think we should write u in your local dialect, it just might aid undastandng. A good no. of your courses r not acredited. I heard of a guy who studied Elect Elect, and on graduation was given a certificate in Education Physics. What nonsense is that? Yet we have pple paying huge sums to school there.

Gsm internet providers should take d blame 4 d post. One step at a time must not b by extortion. The reason why student go to madonna uni. is ignorance. You only find out d truth when u get inside the uni. at that time it is already late. I have friends who went there ignorantly to study medicine on discovering d real nature of the sch changed and studied other courses. Why can't d sch b plain to pple?

Madonna  secondary school students, how are you all doing, hope this ain't true about increment of fees without proper accreditation, (  incredulous   ) , well, maybe that is where  federal UNI.s  has driven students into  cos some can't imagine bn  left at home doing nothing  after bn dump by federal UNI.s post UME or PUD tests

Mr. bigrovar, for your own info, I am currently browsing from the Redeemers’ university server, so better get your gist right if u av 2 lie that your brother is in the skool. Rather u can say that your brova constitutes a nuisance to the skools server because he is probably a virus.
And as for the pics, they are nice but can’t be found in the skool u mentioned cos I’ve been there already, try to gget the right pics from the actual place and you won’ even appear here.

am a graduate of madonna university and am proud of being one.although it wasnt really easy during my undergradute days viz a viz the social aspect of the school, but i must confess that its a real place one could experience what life is all about.those of us who did not only pass through the school but allowed the school to pass tru us are doing pretty well now.i 4 one is working in nigeria's biggest bank and a lot of my class mates are employed in multinational coys and lucrative organizations.tanks to the sound education cum morals that we got 4rm dat citadel of learning MADONNA.
I believe all those criticizing the school are those who couldnt cope and were expelled or better still relatives and friends of such non entities.

To: outlaws ( I bid u not see this as insulting, but as advice)

Do u enjoy the high level of social vices (cultism, looting,,  Huh) Angry, goin on in public skools in Nigeria? If u're in public skool, do u enjoy the time u're spending @ home in the name of strike,  and it's indefinite , which means you don't even have  a day to resume academics. Why not point all five fingers to Government? Have u ever wondered why your countries Legislation is a-million-miles away from her people? Have u thought of the negative implications of these unending strikes in your country.

I would rather conclude that u are not optimistic,  u take five steps forward and ten backwards,  u call what's goin on in the public universities freedom,  i just look at your ignorance and laugh,  i pray God to give u a brighter vision,  your shallow and myopic reasoning is what is making u to see odds and find faults rather than being positive and see progress Shocked. Why don't u let the young to grow! Are u tryin to compare public and private universities in terms of age? Even at that don't u see progress in private skools as compared to their public counterparts. These lads gradu8 @ record time.

I leave nothin to you than, u're not ready for change and a compulsive lover of negativity.

hi dear, im gonna tell u guys the truth about madona uni or wat ever its called. i was one of d pioneers student sof that school  and believe u me there is nothing to write home about it. being the first set we found ourselves in shock when we were given rules and regulations of d sch. mind u this was after we've paid our school fees. d girls were nt allowed to chat with boys for a long time, alot of students were expelled for no jusified reason other than d sch needed the space for new intakes. though it was and still is a private uni, we found ourselves using pit toilet, bathing outside d bathroom cos there was no electricity or bulbs in d bathroom.on a no of occasion we say pythons by the toilet pit in brode daylight and all they did was to sing for the snakes to go back to their hiding place. the students were treated like criminals in a prison, abused and locked up. yes  the school had a cell where they lock up students; i remember a classmate became insane after she was locked up and whenl she was released she wasnt herself she ran around the sch naked. her family had to take her home and she never returned. a university should nt only be where we learn to read nd write, there shuld be a positive impact on d student. there shuld be freedom of speech. yes they said no strike, waz d need of going to a uni when u re nt bold to face the society cos they were holed up somewhere in the name of school. my advice before u accept their admission offer ensurd u]see things urself.

Very funny and cruel. Was the school not inspected before they were allowed to start admitting students?

what matters in a university depends on the student most.who r we to judge other universities when we r not there.all this private university r babies compared to public ones.besides if u want a judiciously followed academic calendar in Nigeria then ill recommend some private uni like igbinedion, convenant and others which i dont know.

madonna God help you
