It's incredible what i've been going through for the past couple of years
I'm constantly battling my fears and it's like nobody cares
I lost my most treasured angel
hope she's resting over there
it's difficult coping with all of life's struggles year after year
her abscence making me look at the world with a whole different glare
The world is so dark and lonely sometimes i wish that i were dead
its making me  feel really crazy, i'm using these words as a replacement for my tears
sometimes it really hits and i feel so fragile like a deer
but i'll be acting tough, like i'm as strong as a bear
got me doing crazy thinks, fighting my demons from hell
sippin on guiness stouts till i'm fading on the chair
or laying with chicks, with no feelings, got me all tangled like dreads
thinking i'm having fun, doing big things, but it all ends in despair
but  you are strong enough to realise that really i'm scared
you held out your hand for me, pulling me closer to your chest
whispering in my ears, things i didn't really want to hear
you told me not to dwell on da past but focus on all of my strengths
you've been a source of my strength, from the streets to the bed
but sometimes i lost myself to all the voices in my head
I treated you like you weren't really worthy of all the love that i felt
but now i'm just realising it was true, all the things that you said
and my eyes are wide open to see you did everything because you cared
so come back to me baby, because i'm tired of being trapped in this hell,
