May the peace of the Lord be with you all.
Please I would like us all raise our voices to God in Prayer for Nigeria. God laid it in my hearth this morning when as I was reading this passage.

Ezra 1
1.Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah,
the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom,
and also put it in writing, saying:
2."Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has
appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

Lets pray that:

(1) God will stir up the spirit of our leaders to build this nation, make them think more about the masses and stop corruption

*I learnt from this passage that there's nobody God cannot use,no matter how corrupt and selfish our leaders are,
 when God is ready to defend the masses He can turn their hearts round and use them to bring this nation out of 
   the present economic bondage

5.Then the heads of fathers' households of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites arose,
even everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up and rebuild the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

(2) God Should stir up the spirit of Nigerians to build this nation and stop thinking of themselves alone
 * Our leaders alone cannot do it. Every Nigerians also need a change of hearth. An average Nigerian is corrupt.Most people, plan to go into politics so as to enrich themselves too and those notin politics practice corruption in the position they find themselves.

7.Also King Cyrus brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which
  Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the house of his gods;,
11.All the articles of gold and silver numbered 5,400. Sheshbazzar brought them all up with the exiles
   who went up from Babylon to Jerusalem.

(3) Everything good that the devil and bad leaders has taken away from Nigeria will be restored back in Jesus Name.

Remember Nigeria is our own Jerusalem, lets Pray for the peace of Nigeria. they shall prosper that love thee.

I am agreeing in prayer and the Spirit with you that the Lord, indeed, turns things around for the good of Nigeria and her people. Let us all plead the Blood of Christ over Nigeria! In the name of Jesus!

The Perfect Man

"And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents." (Genesis 25:27)

Seldom have Bible translators done such an injustice to a godly man as the King James translators did to Jacob (the man whom God used to father His chosen nation Israel) when they called him a "plain" man, in contrast to his apparently more glamorous brother Esau.  Later translators were little better, using such words as "simple," "mild," etc.

The Hebrew word is tam, and its real meaning is "perfect" or "complete." It is the word God used to describe Job when defending him against Satan--"a perfect and an upright man" (Job 1:1, 8; 2:3).  It is also the word used by the bridegroom to describe the bride in the Song of Solomon, there translated "undefiled" (Song of Solomon 5:2; 6:9).  Can one imagine the loving bridegroom calling his beloved "plain."

Jacob, in God's evaluation, was a perfect man.  This does not mean he was sinless, of course, and neither was Job. But his heart was right toward God, believing His Word, caring for his family, earnestly seeking the will of God in preparing for the future ministry which God had revealed to his mother before he was born (Genesis 25:23).  His brother Esau was an irresponsible, carnal playboy, despising his birthright and caring nothing about the great plan of God.

How strange that so many generations of Christians have repeatedly defamed Jacob (and his descendants) and admired Esau, when God had said: "I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau" (Malachi 1:2-3). God spoke to Jacob many times after his "stealing" of the birthright and blessing which Isaac was seeking to deny him (though they had been made his by divine commandment), and it is significant that God never spoke a word of rebuke to Jacob about this--only of blessing and promise. HMM

The Veil over the Nations

"And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations." (Isaiah 25:7)

Many people feel that every nation should be encouraged simply to practice its own religion.  God's Word, however, makes it plain that all nations are blinded, cut off from the truth by a deadly covering.  This is true of the Jews, for "even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart" (2 Corinthians 3:15).  It is also true of the Gentiles, who have "the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart" (Ephesians 4:18).

The veil that keeps them in such darkness is a Satanic blindfold.  "The god of this world |i.e., Satan| hath blinded the minds of them which believe not" (2 Corinthians 4:4).  And how did the devil ever gain such control over human minds?  "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. . . . Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator" (Romans 1:21, 25).

So today, men and women almost everywhere--atheists, Communists, humanists, Buddhists, Confucianists, animists, Hindus, Taoists, Shintoists, occultists, "New Agers," and even the "liberals" in the monotheistic religions (Judaism, Islam, Christianity)--really all believe and practice the same religion, rejecting God as Creator and worshipping instead some man or man-exalting evolutionary philosophy.

Someday, God will destroy this pervasive veil over the nations.  In the meantime, we must reach everyone we can with the true and everlasting gospel of Christ, for that "vail is done away in Christ" (2 Corinthians 3:14). HMM

Angelic Ministry

 
The only danger in talking to Angels is our own pride; Building our Kingdom and not the Lords. It’s not so hard to spot the deception if we walk in humility. Remember there is one Gospel and only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ, who in fact is God. No Angel will receive worship if they are from God.
So before I tell you of some Angels I’ve met I need to show you the biblical basis for talking with Angels or seeing Angels to help us understand why in this Age we need to more than ever look for the assistance of the Angelic host.
 
1) There are lots of them Revelation 5:11 says 10,000 x 10,000 and thousands of thousands. Well 10,000 x 10,000 is a Billion So with that description we can figure there are several Billion! Jesus said he could have asked for 12 legion of Angels to come to his aid if he desired, A legion is 6000, so Jesus had 72,000 Angels immediately at his call.
2) The Greek word translated Angels simply means Messengers
3) Angels are created beings and were created before the creation of the world Job 38:4-7 Col 1:16
4) They are Spirits Heb 1:14 Psalm 104:4
5) They are subject to Jesus Heb 1:4-6
6) They have powers of discernment 2 Sam 14:17 &20
7) They were created Holy Mark 8:38
They have a high level of wisdom Heb 2:7 but much lower than God Heb 1:4
9) They can have an awesome appearance Luke 1:11 Several times when an Angel appeared his first words were “Fear not”
10) They are attentive to the Father for instruction Matt 18:10
11) There are Angels assigned to individuals Matt 18:10
12) They are generally invisible but can become visible and eat food Luke 2:9
13) Angels are strong. One killed 185,000 Assyrians (2 Kings 19:35) one slew 70,000 Israelites (2 Sam 24:15-16)
14) Angels never die Luke 20:35-36
15) They have various names. Watchers, Holy ones, Holy Angels, Hosts, Sons of God, Sons of the mighty, Elect of God, ministering Spirits, Messengers, Angel of the Church, Guardians, Guardian Angels, Warriors and flaming fire.
 
What do they do?
 
1) Called to worship God Rev 5:11-12 , Rev 8:3-4
2) Called to protect the saints Matt 4:11, Dan 6:22
3) They lead Christians to the unsaved and unsaved to Christians Acts 8:26 , Acts 10:30-32
4) Look after Children Matt 18:10
5) Protect people Dan 6:22
6) Announce God’s plans Luke 2:13
7) Look into the affairs of men 1 Pet 1:12
Help to see the will of God performed in the earth Num 22:22 Balaam, Herod’s demise Acts 12:23
9) Take the Lords people home at death Luke 16:22
10) Encamp around those that fear the Lord Psalm 34:7
11) Form the Lords army Mat 16:22-27
12) Help reap the end time harvest Matt 13:39
 
The Bible says we should entertain strangers because we never know when we are entertaining Angels unaware Hebrews 13:2 This tells us that God expects us to expect Angels in our life. They are there to help us, and when someone gets saved the Angels rejoice, Luke 15:7
 
In the Scripture there is a long list of interventions by Angels, In fact I’ve found 48 instances of two way conversations with Angels in many cases the course of human history has changed forever because of these interventions. However never has the spotlight been taken off The Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit, by any of these interventions. Some of the Angelic encounters are quite different experiences, like Balaam's Donkey or Elisha’s servant but in all cases there is a victory for the true and living God.
 

They are ministering spirits,are always around us.many of them in the world even drawing unbeliver to salvation.
they walk in conjuction with the Holy Spirit.
