I like to think you are a professional somewhere giving valuable services to your clients there.
Have you thought of retaining the services of an Estate surveyor & valuer to get you an apartment? Normally, you the prospective tenant will not pay but rather the landlord pays for securing him a client.

Be ready to live in lagos Island,that is where your budget will find you a place.
Though the landlords are always demanding for 3years and 2years.
Though i did advise that you look more at Oworonshoki area.
That is one sure place where you can still pay a thousand naira per month and there a a few
good hearted landlords there.
