1. Everything we buy for ourselves really costs 20 percent more than we tell you it did. Sometimes we just don't want the hassle of arguing over the price of that fancy shampoo. Is that so wrong?

So please, kill spiders, carry the suitcases on vacation and please hold the door.

More than 21 million American men play at least one round of golf a year; of those 75 percent stink at it. That should tell you something.
3. We're unnerved by the notion of commitment, even after we've made one to you.
4. Earning money, preferably earning more than you, makes us feel important.
5. Though we complain and cuss about it, we actually enjoy fixing things around the house.
