Celebration Of Thieves!

I watched in horror in the television yesterday when Bode George and others were in court for bail application. You would  be amazed  by the large of number supporters that were present. They were singing as if he was a presidential candidate campaigning.  If you saw the CHANNEL'S news yesterday you would see what am talking about. It was irritating! If this kind of attention is being given to an accused (embezzling about 100 billion naira), how can we  then combat corruption in Nigeria?  Our thieves are now super stars.  One will be inspired to embezzle the more, since instead of rebuke it brings about  large ovation from the crowd.

isnt it baffling?!

but that is Nigeria for you

as long as hungry people can be given a lifeline to chop free money, they would always be manipulated!

era of rent a crowd is not over and certainly corruption is embedded in almost everyone's system so they would be celebrated! Grin

Nigerians would never learn, NEVER!

well in a world where one hasnt eaten or doesnt know where d next meal is coming from, he would support anybody as long as food gets on his table that day even if such a person is a criminal.

Corruption is now a entity of its own in Nigeria.

It has legs, hands, mouth and characteristics of any human being and infact get celebrated in Nigeria.

look, people worship money and that is part of the value system that is setting Nigeria backwards.

Think about it, even a kid without any form of employment turn up with big car and loads of money and get celebrated by his family without asking questions.

'Big mannism'  'big boy' syndrom etc. until we begin to look at people who suppossed to have money and be rich critically in Nigeria and their source of monies then this type of things will continue.

SUGGEST A WORKABLE SOLUTION TO CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA AND WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO A BETTER FUTURE OTHERWISE WE WOULD CONTINUE TO BE THE JOKE OF THE WORLD

Again I also think that an average nigerian has grown to see nothing wrong with corruption.

It is a pity. We need a re-orientation. By who?

Naija and corruption,  na wa o! what do you want those rented crowd to do in a failed society, when they 've got no where to go- idle people ridden by poverty. Most politicians in naija are lunatics taking advantage of miscreants like them to perpetuate their evil acts. The LORD will not spear them of their deeds. Shameless people! This is just the beginning,

I watched it too and I thought I was the only one that was pissed off by the show of shame Embarrassed. They even wore the same ankara - party members I imagined them to be. The same people whose children couldn't go to school for close to two months because their teachers were on strike for insufficient wages. Stupid lots, trading the future of their children, living and unborn! I weep for this nation Cry Cry Cry

I saw it too, but quickly deduce that it clearly does no reference to his popularity nor was it a solidarity to his cause. It is simply a rented crowd.

Sorry to say, Nigerians have to be the one of the most MORALLY CORRUPT nations that I've seen. As a Nigerian, I'm always in awe how ignorant we've have gotten as a nation. On one hand we want country to advance then on the second hand we celebrate the likes of Bode George, OBJ, IBB and all their likes!!! What a PITY!!
Yes, he's been arrested but how about the leaders that have looted just like him and roam our country free with the AUDACITY to give advice to the government! Like Femi's song goes, "I sorry sorry for Nigeria!" Tufiakwa, when does the madness stop?
"My people perish for lack of vision" Once we have a leader that truly has a vision, then we'll be on our way forward! o ma se o !!!

He was here a couple of months ago when Adedibu died and he was on the phone to Nigeria organising a bus load of rented supporters to go and weep at Adedibu's house. So those people celebrating are rented supporters. How come all of them were wearing the same clothes (according to you guys anyways, I didn't get to see the spectacle)

I didn't get to meet with him because I just don't regard him (He's a thief, like a lot of people like him).

Until the constitution is revised and public execution of any convicted corrupt entity is made legal, nothing would be taken serious.
After publicly executing 2 or 3 convicted corrupt politicians, I can guarantee you with confidence that we (Nigerians) would never witness such a shamless crowd (supporters of Bode George) in action ever again.

Fact: Without the modification of our constitution, nothing serious would happen to these criminals and they will continue to multiply in number by sec (1000 corrupt Nigerian citizens are being produced every 20 seconds; while 100,000 corruption activities are taken place every second at the expense of Nigeria as a nation).

The best gift any president could give Nigeria, is to immediately initiate the modification of our constitution and ensure that the process is successfully implemented.

In Nigeria today, corruption represents a deadly epidemic that continues to crumble our people and lovely country into dust that has no value.
An unprecedented step or action must be taken to rescue the poor/ powerless citizens and save the future for generations unborn.

Our constitution must be revised and empowered without any questions; anything else will be absolutely continuation of rubbish (waste of time and money).

If you're not currently using braille display, the source is pretty much simple and very clear!
