Me return home for gini? What will me going to Nigeria help? Sorry i can visit but for me to actually live there, you got to be kidding me. Who is going to protect me from armed robbers? Not the corrupt police. That is for sure. Who is going to pay me for my rightful services? Not the gov't. That is for sure. I am better staying where i am, safe and prosperous then going to Nigeria where i won't be paid rightfully and have my life endangered. I rather stay here where things are more organized and just send money back home then actually put my life on the line and live there.

Fashola, we all know we should be back home, but what do you have to offer to us when we come back home? Se you go give us grant to start business  or do something worthwhile? When we see the government doing something to Nigeria, trust me, you will not have to beg and plead for pleople to come home, they will come back willingly.

Anyway, as much as I would like to move back to NIgeria, I cannot afford to do so now , why?

1.I have not made enough to establish a company/business in Nigeria
2. Lack of security- ole lotun, ole losi, mi o le wa ku iku ibon o
3. Poor Electricity
4. Bad Roads
5. Hungry policemen full ground yakata looking for people to feed on
Not to mention water,  unemployment  and the list goes on and on.

Hello, hello, hello, Bro Fashola, this line is not clear but I hope you can hear me. I have just been arrested at MMA for wearing a low cut top.
Looks like I'll be spending my first few months at panti for indecent dressing.

Well he has the right to urge us to return home but we have the right to say no.

People like him are there embezzling government funds while the masses are suffering.
If he wants us to return,
he will have to start killing all them political criminals in abuja.
And after killing them, he will also shot himself .
Then MM airport will start to witness the returning of the people who left through her.

Anyone who goes abroad and gets disappointed is someone who should never have been allowed out of Nigeria in the first place. Jeeezz!!! There are so many successful people out here in the west who had practically no options back in Nigeria but have taken advantage of the many opportunities made available to them out here. As long as you are willing to work and have a dream, you should be able to get yourself well set up abroad.

There has always been tons of opportunities to excel in Nigeria but the problem is the system seems to work against you down there and so the government should focus on rectifying that situation. People will not have to be told to come back when that happens as it automatically happens. Government should focus on doing it's job and doing it well.

I am a citizen of the planet earth and i chose to stay wherever i feel

SAFE
COMFORTABLE
HAPPY
RELAXED

I mean imagine,
stable electricity,
good roads
drinkable water running on every tap
efficient transportation
and excellent social packages for the unemployed.

and thats exactly the opposite of Nigeria for me.

beat that fashola and i will be the first to return.

and guess what, the government developed the western world.
and all our own government want us to do is to come back

Good advise gomina(governor) but i suggest you should not be bothered about those abroad there choice, whatever plans you have for the nigerians abroad implement it on the ones in Nigeria and prevent more outflow. Everyday thousands of Nigerians are looking for means to leave the country these are the ones that need help not the ones that are use to having basic things in life like shelter, light , water etc. Fashola and his politicians need a lot of Fixing to be done before giving this advise. I am sure his kids are somewhere abroad leaving in cur de sac residents. He mentioned about Asians going home, he should go there and see what the government is doing, most of the giant companies in the world have something to do in Asia, either manufacturing or outsourcing so citizens can boast of employment but in Nigeria  is a different story.

Thanks for your advice and i tell you if i have a means i will leave Nigeria, if not for good at least there is consolation when you suffer in another mans land but not when you are  a slave among your own people.

Fashola dont just sit down on give advise you need an armour tank to come and bring people back to Nigeria not just mouth talk

This man should tell the Chairman of Oshodi local givernment to vacate the seat before he talks to Nigerians abroad. . .
The American taxi driver who was invited to become Chairman has vowed not leave the position. The money don sweet him belle

or maybe the gov'nor wants other NY taxi drivers to come home and become LG chairmen  Angry

Asians abroad dont run down their countries like Nigerians do. So their govts get enough encouragement from them and foreign investors also get the same.

anyway, I dont support the Nigerian diaspora returning to Nigeria. I think they should remain in permanent exile. They have too much negativity in general.

However, if their host countries decide to force them out, there's little they can do, really, except migrate somewhere else. Not likely to happen anytime soon though.

RETURN HOME?HuhHuhHuh?? YEAAAAAAAAH RIIIIIGHT.

Return home ko, return home ni. Will you be there to protect me when armed robbers come for me at night or when they kidnap me and hold me for ransom. Will he get me a job back home or stop the police from harrassing me? will he give me clean air  and good roads rather than the sewage i see and smell in Lagos?

If he can't then he should keep on dreaming.

Don't mind him, he can't even protect himself. His office was rubbed few days ago.

Fashola and other government officials should know that you don't have to call on naija people to come. They all have relations here for God sake and they get up to date info on what is going on in naija. Will they leave a place where light is 24hrs and come to stay inside the dark,24hrs on the internet information, good road network, plenty of food and cloths, power of currency, neat environment, good security, access to good medical health care, education and what have you.

Please tell him to forget it and face his own business of the day.Lagosians are ernestly giving him the chance to prove himself.

Many of our "leaders" have dual citizenship (cue Ibori, Okereke-Onyiuke, Uba, Dimeji of the house of reps, Tinubu . . .), the rest have diplomatic passports to run out of the country whenever they so wish . . . why shld they tell us to come to the very home even their families dont live in?
