I started this thread and I've just been reading to see what you
guys think about it. Looks like it's a popular one.
So the next thing should be that we should start making concrete
plans and preparations.
The venue will be in Lagos, so let's suggest specific venues.
I say Regency Halls and Hotel Behind MKO Abiola Gardens Ikeja.
And any other useful suggestions??? What do you guys think?

A get-together will be fine. At least, that will enable us wear every 'NairaLander' a face. Location wouldn't really be a big deal. If you can afford it, then participate. If not, no wahala. But I sure know it will be worthwhile. Who knows, we might even transform into a very powerful pressure group, at no time, that can effect positive changes in Nigeria. Because, in Nairaland, we say it the way it is. No gimmicks; or your neighbour will have you for lunch!

, Not a bad idea, but i rilli think we should start with a get together because i guess that way we wuld b able 2 rilli socialize & it wont cost too much,
Here's d deal : someone could volounteer 2 offer his crib 4 d venue, & m sure d music(a good DJ) & chops shuldnt b much of a problem, d whole point is d get together & hookin up so d food doesnt have 2 b 'all that', barbeque,small chops & drinks will do.
It's sumthn d peeps in lagos shuld b able 2 organise without stress, coulda dropped ma crib 4 venue because it sure is big enough & ideal 4 it but i stay in Ikorodu which is not so accessible 4m oda parts of lagos.
PROBLEM IS: will them chics come around?, because most of d active ladies on this site r abroad!!
