Dude, i don't think u r going to see much in the package. Besides, i believe every region has a different package so it depends on which region the psp is shipped for. A sure way to tell is to check the manual because there's always a list of items included. But i believe mine came with these:
1. The PSP unit itself
2. One Battery
3. One charging adapter
4. One UMD (Fired Up - got it in Dubai)

I guess that is all (No memory card, no USB cable)

I'll advice u buy a 2 or 4GB memory card, a USB cable, a pouch (which comes with a strap) and,  (well, this is the much i can think of now)

Have fun dude. PSP is cool.

@ A2J . . .u can't realy c d difference if i paste d slim pic herei wil only tel u d difference to watch out 4. . .
1. u wil notice that it is lighter and slimmer that the previous 1. .
2. the umd(disc) cover is opened wit u using hand to push it open, unlike d phat(previous) psp that u slide a hatch and it jumps open itself. .
3. .its classed psp 2000 series unlike d phat which is classe 1000 series. .u can know this by removin d battery and lookin at d label at d battery compartment, if u see somethn like PSP 200* , then it is slim. .d * can be 1-3, depending on d region. .
there r other differences, bt i gues i av given u a good and fast way to know a slim psp. . its louder toocheers

@ bbee, its easy to hack ur psp, 1ce u know wot u r doing, there are many methods to do itu wil need a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. . .
don't get confused, pandora battery is a psp battery, its just that some codes were removed to make it pandora, and a magic memory card is a psp card which some recovery program r written on it. . .
the easiest way to make this two yourself is to find a person who has an already hacked psp so that u can run some easy program to creat both. . if u av anybody who have a hacked psp, letme know and i wil teach u how u can do it yourself. . .
