It surprises me that you have absolutely no comment related to the story but you choose to basically support this action by your behaviour since in your words,an attack on barbarity is an attack on Yorubas. I'm 100% sure 99.9% of Yorubas would condemn this act. You obviously belong in the twisted 0.1% who would cling to stupidity in the name of tribe. The above story is a crime story. Mamaput has narrated stories of her experience during the biafran war.
These people, despite their age, do not spew hatred toward the yoruba race as you do, because they
are not hateful people.

If a man isn't circumcised, some will say that he will die, he won't produce offspring, he won't be strong, he's not a MAN etc. Culture needs to stop at other people's genitals. No one, male or female, should have their genitalia cut unless they want to. |

This is what the stupid Senator Ufot Ekaette should be fighting against instead of a stupid nudity bill that has no effect on women's lives.
They should have used some of the estacode collected for going to NY for a day to debate a stupid and useless issue to raise awareness against FGM.
It will still happen but the occurrence will reduce and be eradicated eventually.

If something is wrong then it is just wrong. God has given us all the ability to be compassionate. Using passed down culture as an excuse does not hold. It is just like saying that people that killed black people in the past should not be jailed today becasue back then blacks were technically not considered 100% human in america. It is just the wickedness of a husband and his family in an effort to instill fear in this young girl that drove them to do this to her. I hope some lawyer will hear her story and take up this case or someone that has money will pay someone to have each and everyone of them tried for murder and aggravated assualt. They will sit in jail and weigh if what they did was right or wrong. What a tragic story.
