Arsene Wenger, Adebayor And Arsenal
« on: August 17, 2008, 04:48 PM »

Good day everyone

What a fresh start for chelsea trashing portsmouth by four goals to none (4 -0). Arsenal as well secured a 1 - 0 win over westbromwich Abiom (WBA) though it wasn't the usual vintage performance from Arsenal point of view.

Looking at the match between Arsenal and WBA, one keeps wondering especially if you are a fan of the Gunners why Wenger didn't substitute Adebayor when it was ovious that his performance was below expectation - the way he handles the ball is unbelievably wrong. And when he has clear cut chances he fluffed it.  This lackluster performance of Adebayor has been going on for quite some time now and in most cases he is not substituted, why?

Another thing to worry about is Wenger not taking advantage of the transfer market to get some experience and good players expecially in the defence area. He is always hesitant to go into the market when it is ovious that he needs at least two more defenders - a cetre half and a sweeper; and as well an attacker to create options.

Wishing Arsenal and every other team good luck in the new season.
