Dv2008 Lottery:yet To Recieve Visa Interview Date

Hi Pals,
Kindly give me an insight into how to go about the DV2008 visa lottery I won,filled the document they sent to me,couriered it back to their kentucky office since July last year and from their site it is stated that the 2008 batch will be closing by Sept 2009 for those that will be sent their visa interview date,and I am yet to hear from them.

My number is 2008AF00023*** and I plan going to the embassy,do u think is the right thing to do?
If it's not, what do u think is the right thing to b done considering that Sept is by the corner and tracking my number through their site on http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_4328.html seems a little mind buggling.

What do i advice I do.
