The root folder on remote server is like
/home/free-trafficsecrets/public-html/ or can be also
/home/free-trafficsecrets/www/ "that is your base directory you will upload all your files there. Also create another new folder "images" there too. All pictures should be placed in "images" folder (
/home/free-trafficsecrets/public-html/images)
Your FTP account looks like this:You should receive your hosting provider account information via your email address they send you the pertinent information.
FTP Server Name: either IP address or ftp.free-trafficsecrets.com depends on your hosting provider give you FTP account information
FTP Username: same as your hosting provider CMS' (Cpanel, Plesk, H-sphere, or other) username.
FTP Password: same as your hosting provider CMS' (Cpanel, Plesk, H-sphere, or other) password.
FTP Port Number: 21
If you don't use FTP software, then you can set up Define Site on your Microsoft FrontPage that has its own built-in FTP account setting. I am sorry that i no longer use Microsoft FrontPage i switched to Adobe Dreamweaver after earned my website development certification from community college I was taught from---that was their offer in course assigned for students taking 6 weeks hands-on experience led-classroom in order to prepare for webmaster competency exam.
