I connected my laptop the net and could no longer browse. I found out that it connected but was not sending and recieving packets when i check under the activity section of the connection status. please what can i do to rectify it ?
I need assistance on it.
I used a friend's flash drive and when i tried opening it, my system went off and came on again. Since then (Today), when i turn my laptop i see a message which reads " Summit XFERRECV_RecvMain2():Socket()error 3155, 10050".
I'm scared and also need help on this also.
please someone should help me out on what to do as all this happened today

Did you buy memory chip (RAM) installed on your laptop recently?
Maybe it has wrong type of RAM for laptop caused you get prompting error "Summit XFERRECV_RecvMain2():Socket()error 3155, 10050". I guess from the google search result where the error come from. It does not explain how or remove!

No i did not.
The memory card i have i only slotted it in when the system was off and remove it even before wanted to go browsing.
Infact when i put the system in safe mode and was running a general scan this afternoon, after about 5-6 % scan, the system went off and does'nt want to come on again.
I was scanning because i wanted to know if the flash i used earlier had a virus, as i guess thats what could have made the system go off and come on again.
What do do think?

THE FINAL SOLUTION AFTER EVERY OTHER TRIAL THAT DID NOT WORK IS TO FORMAT UR SYSTEM
MINE DID that SOME TIME AGO BUT I LATER RESOLVED THE PROBLEM BY TAKING IT BAK TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING AS IN HOW IT CAME FROM THE FACTORY. AND IT STARTED WORKING
BEFORE U that U MIGHT NEED TO SOVE SOME VITAL INFORMATION ON UR SYTEM COE U STAND GREATER PERCENT CHANCE OF LOOSING THEM.
