meaning you are encouraging duplicity of threads here abi ?

no wonder all these vermins get away with all the rubbish they do . . .

Seun, please leave the Sports section for us to handle, don't by virtue of ur say in this disorganize this section

do u now mean to say 38 threads in a year x 20 clubs = 760 isnt too much ?  Shocked

760 threads of bunkum would sure be a spectacle  Grin  Grin

How can you challenge someone of how he runs his home when you are not paying a dime to live there. If you don't like it, the exit door is always opened.

760 threads in a year is still nothing.  That's just two threads a day in the whole sports section.

However, most Nigerian football fanatics are fans of the top 4 premier league clubs, so the plan
is to cover every match played by Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

38*4 per year is just 1 thread every 2-3 days.  And that's much less than nothing.  Nigeria is a
soccer-loving nation; the sports forum should be the most popular subforum after Romance.

@seun

it doesn't seem right, why the duplication,

this is not issue of dominance on 12 regulars, then why do we have instruction at the top which clearly states "Common ERRORS include capitalization, bad spelling and DUPLICATE TOPICS".

and also OLD topics must NOT be repeated.

man, you contradict your own rules,

Seun, what happens when Chelsea plays Arsenal??
Arsenal fans would create topic that says: Arsenal Vs Chelsea. . . .
Chelsea fans would go: Chelsea Vs Arsenal.
After the game, Arsenal fans would say: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea(We are the champions)
Chelsea fans would create: Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal(Scolari should be sacked, Drogba should be sold).
One single match has generated 4 or more topics. . . . .Is that not a worry for the moderator?

spot on mate, i love u for that,

for example i wonder why we have a thread for men's olympic games then we'll have nigeria vs argentina, and the lot,

i'm pretty sure someone else would bring on a thread that says nigeria vs argentina, or another thread that says nigeria thumps belgium, or nigeria wallops beligium, or nigeria devastates belgium, men, its a load of crap,

but seun, why na?

I disagree, the reason it has attracted more people is because it is relatively more organised. I'm an arsenal fan, when i want information on the club there is just a one-stop shop - - the arsenal club thread. I don't have to peruse 200 threads just to find information i could easily find in one spot.

This is just another wahala. Jackal didn't say it all. What about arsenal versus Chelsea- the video; Arsenal versus Chelsea - was it an offside?, arsenal versus Chelsea - fantasy league; arsenal versus Chelsea - pictures only. If this happens to football clubs, what will happen to national teams?

Seun, please tell me you're kidding me.
You want soccer to beat Romance?
It will never be interesting because everyone will go offtopic.
We are all bound to refer to a previous match in a bid to support one topic and if everyone else continues talking about the previous topic, it defeats the purpose of the thread.
It's off no use. Personally I think our wonderful Club supporting threads are good.
There's no need to compete with romance.
Everyone has issues with that. Sports is popular enough in my opinion.

It's going to be big. . . . . . .  Cool
We must promote this section and crush the Romance Section.  Cheesy Grin Cheesy

We'll probably never be able to make a head or tail of sports section anymore.
I am NOT looking forward to this happening either.  Angry

I see us winning by at least 3-0. We must win this one now that we are in serious crisis due to injuries since our problem in recent time has always been injuries and the teams we are playing this time are not so great.
