And if somebody greets "Dele" or "Ki do" and answers "O we ni," you would say that there are no differences between them and you?

God! why the ignorance? some other Igbos greet this same greeting differently, here are some examples;

1, Kedu
2, Nda
3, agini
4, Imelu angha
5, Imelu oyi
6, Kenke nemenu etc.

I guess each of the greetings qualifies for a different ethnicity, like babyosisi said stick to what you know.

This is exactly what I'm saying, it's not up to me to tell you who you are. Just like it's not up to you to tell anyboy else who they are. But iwasn't it you, who earlier in this thread said that Asaba people referred to people from the other side of the Niger as something like "those igbos?" Don't confuse yourself, abeg.

Hehehehe. . . . what was Fela's song? "Trouble dey sleep, yanga go wake am, wetin e dey find ohhh. . ." Abeg, preach di message o jare, and let all those who have ears to hear, hear! Lakal, you ought to know by now, that Donzman is a confused human being! Just go through most of his posts on this site.

So far we had ebeledi say most Ikwerres are Igbo,including his Ikwerre part of the family except some "migrated few",we know Asaba and Ogwashi and Issele Uku people call themselves Igbo except the "migrated"few.

Laudate,you have no cause for a glory dance yet, because so far you've not contributed anything tangible to this discussion but continually inciting people like a little girl. Grin

@Lakal

Stop the misinformation, I was trying to prove a point that Asabas see themselves as Igbos who do not live on "traditional" Igboland as evidenced by the fact that their MAIN founder Nnebisi left Igboland in search of his father's land in Igala which he never got to but settled in Asaba. Please don't use that statement to insinuate that I said that Asabas were not Igbos.

You once referred to yourself as a snake, on another thread. So since you have decided to keep on describing yourself in such a sick manner, I would advise you to head for the nearest mental health facility, so that a cure can be found for your condition! Ndo!  Tongue

I laugh, when people like you descend into the realm of falsehood, hyperbole & conjecture to make a non-existent point. It seems your route of trading insults has failed to achieve the desired effect, now you have to delve into the realm of sheer, unadulterated fallacy to evoke a reaction.

Well, since you know Laudate is Yoruba, please kindly supply proof that can be verified, and state what part of Yoruba land Laudate comes from. In your answer, include the name of the town, the dialect spoken there, and the local government area, you silly toad! Tongue Every correct answer gets twenty marks! Hehehehe. . . .

Unless of course, you are just crying wolf, and the word 'dog' actually refers to you, as a person. Come to think of it, that description actually fits you like a glove. I've noticed that you often use derogatory words to describe yourself, on this site. Pity! *sniff* This wouldn't be the first time that you have done just that. *Hiss* Tongue

Hehehe. . . you suffer from far greater problems, than I thought. Lakal made a valid point. I concurred. Now you call it 'sucking up'. I weak o! Why don't you take out an ad in the papers?

Your brain cells seem to be stuck in a groove, because you have an unhealthy fixation with this 'dog' thing. That's why you keep repeating it, Mr. NineToFive a.k.a Dog!

It sounds like a new tune you have just composed for yourself. Oya, start singing "Dogs known as NineToFive, are not welcome here!"
