A sex addict is anyone who must have his/her regular dose of sex to function properly. An addict usually has concentration problems if he/she does not get it as often as he/she needs it, in such instances the addict would be perpetually horny and think of sex all the time.
There are 3 major levels of addition
1 --- Strongly Addicted (Needs sex everyday)
2 --- Addicted (needs it at lease 3 to 4 a week)
3 --- Weakly addicted ( needs it at least once a week )
4 --- Not addicted (can do without sex for months)
Regular Self help which falls into any of the patterns above is also a form of addiction.

@Calabarman, I'm not surprised that you started with category 1. I actually expected that you'll remain on that category for ever. Anyway, is there a decline? Why the fall from 1 to 2? just asking, lol. As for me, before you ask, I'm in the 2nd category, always thinking about sex & needing it like 4 times a week. I know I'm addicted to sex, but the fornication commandment no wan let me enjoy am well well. |

Can i just point out that categories 2-4 within the boundaries of a relationship and a stable partner doesn't mean an addiction, just means you have a perfect sex life.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but when you are in a steady relationship for a long time the frequency changes initially you may be operating at level 1 but the longer and closer you two stay together you gradually move to level 2 and eventually level 3. Sex no longer trips you two the way it did in the early days so you both wait until the hunger really builds up and then go for each other. I think that is what I am experiancing now, however if I were to go for a new babe I would probably be back in level 1 until the novelty wears off. Hence the reason why married couples operate in level 3 after years of marriage.

before I was in level 1- (level 1- = Morning, afternoon and night and always have fever too) and that is why I have the raincoat on every time. But now in 1.
