Wait a minute. . . Do you know ManU have not won away since March 15th. . . That's one stat to ponder about.
Thats a huge FACT and i am shaking in me boots!!!! However, do u know United haven't beaten West Ham in the last 3 games PRIOR Saturday? Well. . . . .United scored 3 goals within 26 minutes of the game before Nani was sent off. If Nani had stayed on. . . . .It could have been 10 goals to nuthing. Letz face it . . . . . . . . . Do u really think Ferguson will drop points at Wigan knowing 3 points will win him the title? This will be like UCL final . . . . .The difference this time is we are playing a shyte team known as Wigan Athletic. If United can go to Roma and win 2-0, win 1-0 at Anfield and 4-1 at Villa Park. . . .I would kiss the PREM title goodbye if i were u. Chelsea on the other may win 17-0 against Bolton and still come short of winning the PREM. It ain't in your hands at all. . . . . .It's UNITED'S title to LOSE. . . . . AND THE UCL final is not until 2-3 weeks time. Fergie will not be resting his big boys for this. . . . . He will be going into this game like he would be playing CHELSEA in MOSCOW. Blimey. . . . .Russia has waived Visa requirements for anyone holding a valid ticket to watch the FINAL. MOSCOW, Here i come. . . . I have got a spare ticket. . . . .You want to come?

Yes all you need now is a ticket to get to Moscow. . . Still don't know if I dey go. . . . I wish it was closer though. . .

@ Nateevs,
I am going to MOSCOW . . . . Got a spare ticket in the black market some few weeks ago. . . . Got turned off by the VISA protocols where i was told i would pay 185 pounds for visa processing. . . . .
However, the Ruskies have made things very easy with the ticket schitzo. . . . The only thing is the 6 hours journey(thatz London-Lagos trip)!!!!! Anutha worry is their sub-zero temperature and geezers will not be allowed to drink like we want to. . . . .
Although, this depends on the outcome of sunday. . . . If Roman gets to Steve Bruce and the man in black and Wigan get a result, i'd be devastated. Whatever the FA do. . . . . I don't want to see Robbin' Styles at the JJB stadium. . . .He brought this final day schitzo on United in the 1st place.

@ Nateevs, Fergie will be wary of Rob Styles. I expect Howard Webb and Steve Bennett to officiate in the 2 games. Temperature in Moscow is crazy. . . .I am going in padded. Letz just hope i find a stranded lass on board before i get to Moscow to warm me up. Meanwhile, do u watch I AM ON SETANTA SPORTS with Jose Mourinho, Sven Goran Eriksson and Wayne Rooney? I think its the best show in England. . . .If Sven really approved of this show, he is very daft. . . Mourinho takes the piss out of him like crazy. He is being treated like a filthy rag and they take piss on Wenger too whenever he calls in. Watching it on Setanta Sports now.

Moscow is very hot during summer time so I advise you not to get padded up. The only padding you should be wearing is stab-proof vest because you might get stabbed by some neo-nazi's over there. You know how those Russian boys operate. I have been to Bulgaria before and I doubt I will be touching Eastern Europe ever again.

Nateevs, Oh well, another one bites the dust.
How many have we lost now? Anyway no one knows the mind of Roman, I think he's waiting until he sees a trophy before he backs Grants with needed funds.
I'm not in a hurry either. Even with Utd's buys see how well we have done. We can still get good players at the end of the season. My mind is on the UCL.

Roman does not know that you have to act early in the summer to buy the players you want. Maybe he is waiting till after Euro 2008 to name a manager by which time there wont be any players left.
Another breaking news: Milan have pulled out of the race to sign Drogba. I am hoping someone else will come in for him because I am happy with his unprofessionalism as he showed again yesterday. His stroppiness is becoming too frequent abeg. I don tire for the guy and I hope we sell him. He is too emotional.

Is this a good idea? www.goal.comBallack To Receive Bumper Deal Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack will be rewarded with a lucrative three-year deal following an outstanding season at Stamford Bridge… The Blues are keen for Ballack to commit the rest of his career to the club, and he is likely to accept despite strong interest from Real Madrid and former club Bayern Munich. The 31-year-old got off to a slow start at Stamford Bridge, initially struggling to cope with the pace of the Premier League following his free transfer from Bayern in 2006, and had a rocky relationship with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho. However, the Germany captain has flourished this season under new boss Avram Grant, and has become the key creative and attacking element in a star-studded Chelsea midfield, scoring nine goals since his return to action late in December. And it appears Grant may look to reward Ballack’s excellent form not only by improving on his current ₤121,000 deal, as the Israeli is considering a shift to a 4-4-2 formation so as to best utilise Ballack’s attacking talents and accommodate striker Nicolas Anelka. But Grant have to find a new strike partner for his formation is reports regarding Didier Drogba’s imminent exit are to believed, as the Ivorian is supposedly frustrated with his paltry ₤100,000 pay packet and feel under-appreciated at Stamford Bridge. But plans for next season must wait until the current one is dealt with, as Chelsea look to secure what would be a memorable double. The Blues are battling with Manchester United on both domestic and European fronts this season, as they lie level on points heading into the last game of the Premier League season and are set to face each other in the Champions League final in Moscow on May 15. And although United’s superior goal difference makes them favourites to clinch their 10th Premier League crown, Ballack has experienced first-hand with Bayer Leverkusen the pressure involved in maintaining a slender advantage toward the end of the season. “Everything is in United's hands and the pressure is all on them now,” he said. “With Leverkusen in the last game, we needed just a draw and Bayern Munich needed to win and we lost. It was even against a lower team in the league, so I know that anything is possible and this is possible.” Chelsea face 16th-placed Bolton Wanderers this weekend, while the Red Devils face 13th-placed Wigan Athletic. And Ballack is adamant that United will be tested, as the Latics scrapped 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge recently thanks to a late Emile Heskey equaliser. “We hope that Wigan play with the pride we know they have,” Ballack said. “When they played us a couple of weeks ago, they put four strikers on the pitch in the last four or five minutes to get something from the game. I hope they are not on their holidays.”

Man Utd have this week made an enquiry for Palacios of Wigan. I guess they are trying to unsettle him before their match on Sunday. Same old Alex Ferguson. Anyway, this is what Steve Bruce is saying about the match: http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=686547In the buildup to Manchester United's must-win game at the JJB Stadium, Steve Bruce has scoffed at the suggestion that Wigan will be anything less than fully motivated seeing that their Premership status is now assured. The former Red Devil stands in the way of Sir Alex Ferguson's tenth Premier League trophy, but he was keen to point out that there is huge financial incentive for his club to finish as high up the table as possible, as a result of the prize money designated for each league position by Premier League before the start of each season. "We've got to be professional and we will be. The difference between finishing two places in the Premier League these days is almost £1.5 million," said Bruce. According to the number crunchers, if the Athletics, who currently lie 13th, beat United and Newcastle United lose at Everton, they would finish 12th, earning them £6.4m in prize money. But, conversely, if the Athletics should lose they could finish as low as 15th and net £2.1m less. Meanwhile, Wigan are hoping to seal the deal for Egyptian striker Amr Zaki, who Bruce personally traveled to Egypt to watch in action over the weekend.

I hope the Ballack deal is surely a rumour. It would be irresponsible to offer him a higher wage unless you want to see Lampard and Drogba leave.
He's already over paid.

@All I wonder why every wrong thing in Chelsea is attributed to JM. If Roman get headache today, they might even say na Mourinho. People are so silly JM like Ballack a lot. He was even one of the famous "untouchables". He was having injury problems, he went for operation without approval from Stamford Bridge at a time we need even half-fit players , only to show up as a guest in Wembley. I wont forget the respect JM showed to both Sheva and Michael while we were jubilating in Wembley. Enough said.

Milan accept Drogba defeat.
Milan may have landed Mathieu Flamini but they are less confident of luring Didier Drogba from Chelsea.
Arsenal had hoped to persuade the France international to sign a new deal at Emirates Stadium but the midfielder elected to quit North London in order to move to Italy.
Flamini has agreed a switch to Milan in a deal which will begin on 1st July, with his last appearance in an Arsenal shirt to come against Sunderland on Sunday.
Speculation has suggested Milan are to follow up the capture of Flamini with a second capital raid, with Drogba having long been mooted as a possible target.
However, Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida does not anticipate the Ivory Coast international to follow on the path trod by Flamini.
"Drogba is a very interesting player that many clubs would want to have but he is under contract at Chelsea and I believe he will remain at Chelsea next season."
As for Flamini, Braida revealed Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is a great admirer of the 24-year-old.
"I have to say Flamini was a player that Ancelotti really wanted and Milan is like a family, where decisions are made jointly," he said.
"Flamini is not an unknown player. Just like Didier Drogba isn't.
"I'm not surprised by his talent and I assume several teams would have wanted his services.

^^^^Hehehehehehe . . . . . . . . . what do you expect from The Sun? Maybe you should switch to goal.com. They have the best European news and transfer info.
As for Ballack, I am sure he still has two years left on his contract. Is there any reason to give him a new one? These big £100k+ contracts should stop when a player is 32 (which he will be in a year). After that, you offer him yearly contracts based upon his performances.

^^^^^I think Soccernet is the only one that is competing with goal.com to be honest. For editorials, I would say timesonline is the best, followed by Soccernet - but when it comes to real insight about every club in Europe and every transfer that may be taking place, goal.com is the best. For example, everyday, BBC give you the transfer gossip that is going on - but goal.com provide a background to the transfer, who was seen with who from which club at which restaurant etc. The reason is because Goal.com has multi-language services such as Italian, Portuguese, Spanish etc. If an Italian journalist sees an interesting story breaking in Italy, it is quickly transferred into English and we all find out. Other sites are not multi-language so they don't have this advantage except Soccernet. For example, check out this story which is just breaking on goal.com - you wont find it on other sites . . . . . Ronaldinho Close To Retirement? News daily Adn claims that Ronaldinho's fitness condition is worse than thought, stating that the Barcelona star may never be fit for top-level competition again, The Brazilian ace is reported to have undergone a medical last week at the Delfos clinic in Barcelona to check on his physical condition at a time in which he is trying to find a new club to kick-start his career. His medical, which was done in secrecy, allegedly determined that Ronaldinho's "ominous" condition does not allow him to continue playing at a high level. Meanwhile, Barcelona and coach Frank Rijkaard have apparently stated that they did not know about the Brazilian's medical exam. The Spanish daily claims that, while the reason for Ronaldinho's medical is unknown, it may have to do with AC Milan's interest in the 28-year-old. The rossoneri's desire for the Brazilian may now be non-existent after chairman Silvio Berlusconi said that the Barcelona footballer was no longer a great target. Ronaldinho, who has been out of action for almost two months, is currently undergoing a recovery program, but his taking part in the club's closing fixtures seems to be out of the question.

You also won't find this story on any of the major websites. I am sure Somze is interested in this one: http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=687194Ben Arfa To Marseille? Young French international Hatem Ben Arfa's future at Olympique Lyon grows evermore uncertain as president Jean-Michel Aulas hinted in newspaper La Provence that OL would be willing to listen to offers for the player. Having struggled to break into the Lyon starting eleven on a regular basis in recent weeks, twenty-one year-old Ben Arfa was said to be “unhappy” by Aulas in the press last week, although made no statement himself. This very public declaration struck observers as a message to interested parties to bid for the young French international; however Aulas has taken matters a step further today by strongly hinting that the wing-forward could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Marseille's Samir Nasri. There is no secret of Lyon's admiration of the creative midfield player while Marseille, along with Arsenal, have been made favourites to sign Ben Arfa. Comments made in La Provence today are certainly designed to act as a catalyst for Marseille to move. Lyon's President is quoted as saying, "If Marseille contacted us for Hatem, would we be ready to yield to him? I answer: why not? Nothing prevents us from considering such an offer. "Marseille are a large club where Hatem could be just as easily affirmed as abroad. Precisely, the idea to see this young talent continuing to play in France would allure me. It would be a good thing for Ligue 1."
