na waa for u guys sha !
all these arguments with JM and all sorts . . .

meanwhile, u guys have been draggin this shyte for far too long.
about that league table; correct me if i wrong but i thunk man city were second at the end of matchday 6 ?
so we were at 5th position when we played man utd.

meanwhile, in as much as Grant's tactical prowesses are warped, the man deserves some respect !!! simple!
call it luck or whatever u guys feel like, u definitely can't take it away from him.
nobody can rightfully say what the outcome of the league would've been if JM were still around; but i sure as heck know we  weren't going to lift the title playing draws ! - ask arsenal !  Tongue

guys, exert your energies on something more fruitful ! JM is what the arses like tagging "History" !

It was this Ibime guy that always bring Mourinho in.

Lies upon lies on JM.

He keep on saying English paper says this and that with no links.

when he provide links, he summarises it in his own english. Grin

I have posted the league tables more than 5 times in the course of arguments.

He is of the opinion that UK Newspaper isfar from us. Imagine!

Thank God for Loyika, arguments with facts. Argument with  proper link.

Remove the mole from your eye . . . Baltemar was hired by JM's, Ten Cates was hired by RA. Stop being dull. A manager picks his assistant not the club. Since RA picked Cates then it is clear that he and Grant were JM's replacement. Cates is actually here to work on our movement and formation on the pitch.

No Somze, you don't know that for fact. Who is to say Ten Cates was not hired by Avram? A lot of press speculation at the time said Grant was recommended by Hiddink, others said it was Arnesen that recommended him. Others said Ten Cate wanted him because of his work with Barcelona. You cannot categorically state who signed him because nobody knows.

Ok guys,

Lets look forward to the Champions League.

Personally I think after Sunday's result our players may need some sort of motivation to be back at their peak. We definitely have to play better than we did.

Sundays game emphasized our need for quick feet wingers. Bolton proved difficult to break down.

I watched the ManU's game and anytime Ronaldo ran towards wigan's defense they was a scare. We need wingers with that effect.

Why not do Google search, you will find out. Every time you have challenged me to provide link, I have always provided. You have asked for link for many things that a normal Chelsea fan should know, yet I always gave link. Every post, you always want to antagonise but I just dey ignore your talk. Na you wey dey bring Mourinho in. I mentioned that Chelsea fans are singing for Avram Grant, you begin start debate. I talk something, you talk say I dey lie but you no fit prove am.

Breaking news: It is official:

Chelsea to sign £16.2m Bosingwa

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Porto for the £16.2m transfer of right-back Jose Bosingwa.

The 25-year-old Portugal international has arrived in London to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical, according to the Blues website.

Bosingwa, who was also a target for Manchester United, was born in Congo but moved to Portugal as a child.

The full-back helped Porto to the 2004 Champions League title and four league championships since signing in 2003.

More soon.

akola,

that table is flawed because you're trying to stop the table at the 15th !    WRONG !!!!!!
man city played on the 16th and won their game which moved them up to 2nd position on the table.
don't be quick to judge because u might end up forgetting that JM took us out again rosenburg

while we were playing rosenburg, we were already 5th on the table !!!!

@ wormedup,

Thanx for the clarification. There is nothing to prove Jose would have done better in the league or the carling cup. If Mourinho could lose to Aston Villa with Drogba at full tilt then u wouldn't bet on him winning against a new-improved Tottenham side.

@ Akolawole,

Give it up. Jose brought all this mess on Grant. Why didn't he keep Chelsea in the top position before being sacked. He inherited Chelsea in the same position as every other team when Ranieri was sacked. Cheesy Grin

Except AG wins the CL, he has done nothing and should be fired . . . period. At least with JM we always were sure of a trophy.

The reason why we started slowly this season is JM was refused funds and had to go for average players that were on a free transfer.

The same with last season. We lost Gallas against JM's wishes; this caused a rift between him and Kenyon. This affected our season when we lost our 2 defenders for months without a substitute (AG is indeed lucky to have Alex and Ben Haim).

RA's rift with JM started when RA insisted Shevshenko must be in the starting line up even when it was evident he was not delivering. Remember when Shevy first came in, he was always starting matches and JM kept him in until he scored his first goal months after. JM then had to put him on the bench as his game was overly poor.

I know some myopic fans will now blame JM for Shevy's demise but that argument falls flat on its face knowing that Shevy had lost form in the prior season in milan and even Alan Shearer commented negatively about the transfer when it was made. I think what Shearer said was Shevy has lost his legs or so.

Ballack was a regular and was never an issue until the injury. Ballack violated contract agreements by taking medical advice and treatment without the knowledge of the club.

JM is not just a good manager, he is a great manager. He made average players become world stars and gave us our first back to back including our first EPL title in 50 years. Ranieri and AG has failed in that respect. JM's failure in Chelsea was the inability for our team to make it to the CL finals.

Now we're in it, but AG has been pretty lucky with draws. We met pretty weak teams and Liverpool has been our only test. Even at that we were lucky with that own goal which was very undeserved. AG is no tactician or maybe I do not know what I'm talking about. It is a known fact that Clarke and Cate are in charge of training. If there is anything you can not fault AG on is his luck, but can we live on that?

@ Akolawole,

This is getting tasteless by the minute. JM lost to Aston Villa, didn't he? Where was his tactical acumen when it was 1-0. Why didn't he change the game around and win? What about the 0-0 against Blackburn at Stamford Bridge or Rosenborg's 1st champions league fixture? You must admit JM was losing the plot gradually. He was lucky he left the time he did, Chelsea could have finished 6th easily. Besides, United and Chelsea weren't exactly 2 points below Arsenal because the gunners had a game in hand then.

Forget the issue of Barnsley will not beat Mourinho and Spurs. Chelsea lost to Charlton at SB in a Carling cup game, isn't it? Newcastle once knocked JM's Chelsea out of the FA cup, isn't it? By your assertions, one would think JM never got it wrong when he was at Chelsea. The same Mourinho that was beaten blue black by Middlesboro some few seasons ago. United couldn't have sacked Ferguson at the start of the season because there was no fit striker available for Man United when the season kicked off. It was different to Chelsea who had Drogba, Kalou, Shev and Pizarrro.

Jackal,

Dont twist the arguments.

JM lost quite a lot of matches. I think 21 matches in 3 years few months. Derby can even beat his team, no doubt about that.

I stand by what i said earlier, i know Chelsea's style under Mourinho to predict what would happen.

Of course we lost on penalties to Charlton( a premiership) side in Carling cup and Borough too in a year Borough tore United apart by 4 goals Grin.

I knew JM will not lose to Barnsley with 30 minutes to go. Barnsley beat liverpool because it was a late goal NOT because Liverpool cannot equalise if given a golden 30 minutes to recover. Undecided

@ Akolawole,

Jackal? Can't u read? El Chacal is writing exams in Leeds.

Chelsea lost to Barnsley because of some silly decisions made by the referee. I remember the referee flagging Kalou offside when a Barnsley player was clearly keeping him on and Joe Cole was so furious, it was unimaginable. Coventry beat Man Utd 2-0 at OT. Southend beat Man Utd some seasons ago.
These are cup-ties, anything can happen.

@ Ibime,

Akola has conjuctivitis. He cannot read.

Peter Kenyon and the decision makers at Chelsea will plunge that club into the abyss with the senseless signings. Bosingwa for 16 million pounds when u have Essien(24 million), Ferreira(13.5 million) and Belletti($$$). What's the economic sense in signing Bosingwa?

@ Akolawole,

Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh******** What is it about Chelsea that this outfit lacks class. Bosingwa flew down from Portugal and Peter Kenyon and co couldn't even arrange adequate transportation from Heathrow to Stamford Bridge? Look at the guy looking lost with a ragged black leather jacket n tattered pair of jeans on SKYSPORTS. He was finding his way to the bridge via mobile phone. Cheesy Cheesy  Chelsea have no class, i remember Alex was subjected to the same slave-like reception as well. Alex getting into a London bus like a schmuk. You can pay 16 million for a player but u cannot arrange his transporation. I feel sorry for Jose. Grin Grin
