Loyika(Warren Buffet) hires me Chacal(Project Manager) to build the most beautiful house on a sandy landscape,

When it got to the stage where i was meant to put a roof. . . .You decided i was too slow for u. . . . and sacked me!!!!
You then hired anutha manager who only had to put finishing touches like roofing, painting, water and electricity and all em stuffs.
Eventually, he completed the house spending $5 million and it was designed to your taste.
Now tell me, would u say the 2nd manager spent less to achieve what i achieved?

You lot are missing the point . . .it was never about Muorinho. . . it was about Grant. . except that there is no way to talk about Grant's Successes and not talk about Muorinho. .

Secondly, your answer is based on end results . . . which clearly means IF HE PRODUCES I WILL SUPPORT HIM. . . That is a clear case of someone perhaps not up to the task . . .That answer also means IF HE DOES NOT PRODUCE I WILL NOT SUPPORT HIM

Nateevs Answer me this, have you all honestly given Grant a chance he lost the Milk cup Like i said, Roman could give a rats a@@ about that trophy. He went out to Barnsley So did Liverpool, if i am not mistaken, and at Anfield for that matter. He is in the quarters of the CL, and 3rd in the Prem, which means he can still grab 1 trophy at least. WHAT MORE DO YOU GUYS WANT THE BLOKE TO DO Let him have 1 full season under his belt (if he is retained), then you can compare him to Papa Smurf for all i care. @ nateevs, I will have Avram Grant if Ferguson steps down. At the end of the day, it goes further than the football structure of the club. . . . . As long as he can build the team spirit, mainatain the team balance and have a good relationship with the players, he will succeed!!!!! Grant is not as bad as u people are making him to be. If Jose Mourinho didn't lose so much ground in the Premiership, Grant wouldn't be fighting for the title more fiercely than he is doing. Man Utd is still paying for their slow start this season. . . .So we can twist, twirl, argue and counter-argue about this thing and we would still be here till kingdom come. You guys should just support Grant and forget about Mourinho. Be patient, Man Utd fans waited 6 years before Fergie delivered the Holy grail. Blimey, maybe i should start thinking about Sir Matt Busby because Ferguson has failed to win more than 1 UCL title. Loyika should be sad too and be begging Arsenal management to bring George Graham back(he won Carling cup, European Cup) which Wenger is yet to win. |

He is definitely the best thing that ever happened to Chelsea but if we want him to be the best thing that WILL EVER HAPPEN then it means we do not want to move forwards. . . I made that statement about Grant because i was disappointed with the way he handled the cup final.
Chelsea's strength were on the bench. . . Ashley Cole, Joe Cole were supposed to have played.
Besides, he used a dud formation that completely took out the threat of ANELKA. . . I was angry but then it was in the heat of the moment.
Just because i don't come to Nairaland to diss Ferguson doesn't mean i ALWAYS agree with his ways. He disappoints me more than Grant does.
I will cite one example. . . . .The game against Pompey got me so mad with Fergie's antics of keeping faith with his old guards.
Scholesy shouldn't have played. . . . .to make matters worse, he took out Tevez. . . .
Tell me, how could that have been a tactical substitution. . . .United needed a goal desperately. . . More strikers should have been added.
If he felt one of his strikers was tired. . . Rooney should have been pulled out as he was firing blanks. We lost that game because Fergie played God.

I do agree Roman loves Chelsea but you and I know the only way he can get the best out of the money he has spent is to employ a few brainy guys instead of a truckload of wasteful personel (Arnesen, Zahavi, Grant) and more importantly hands-off the team influence. . hence the reason we are all talking about it. . . Who else would if we didn't ? He's been great to Chelsea. . . and I have the feeling he'd redo it next summer (I saw the blank cheque this morning ) . . . all this I do sincerely want . . . but the money all comes back to nothing without the right personnel. . . We have 2 games in hand (against Deby and Sunderland) - so if we win them and beat Arsenal at the Bridge, we will be AHEAD of them - the only team we are worried about is Man Utd. @ Somze, why don't you go and marry Mourinho if you love him that much. Abeg get over it. Mourinho is gone because of his argumentative personality. You cannot be fighting Abramovic all the time. Do you see Schuster, Mancini or Ancelotti fighting with their respective owners when their owners start buying players. Mourinho is not the first manager who did not buy his own players. All of them from Capello to Lippi have players bought for them by Mijatovic, Calderon and all the other Technical directors and Presidents. Do you see any of them fighting? They brought in Arnesen to work with Mourinho but Mourinho does not want to work with him. Well, I am sorry - whether or not you are a fan of the Technical director system, you don't see top managers in the World fighting with their technical directors. Ramos has a technical director, Damien Comolli, who was also Arsene Wengers technical director. Because of Mourinho's fractious personaltiy, instead of sitting down with Arnesen and discussing where and how they want to take the team forward, he hated him from day one. How can you say Arnesen is not doing his job when every England youth team has at least 5 or 6 Chelsea players. The fact is that if Arnesen recommended anyone, Mourinho does not even want to listen to him - so you cannot say Arnesen is not doing his job. Mourinho should comot abeg. The reason he was sacked is because of personality differences with Abramovic, not any footballing issue. |
