End of premiership . . . we find it hard to score a second goal when we go on top. . . I can't believe that after all those chances all we could manage was a goal. . . I can't wait for next season . . . I know some Chelsea fans will say we lost because Lampard did not play . . If Lamp is the best player in this team . . then it means we have a big problem . .

I just watched chance after chance elude us. . . I am stunned. . utterly speechless!!!

@ nateevs,

Blame your players. . . . . .Grant has nuthing to do with this.
The team that played tonight is strong enough to beat Arsenal let alone, Wigan Athletic.

Why do Chelsea score a goal and sit on it without scoring the other?
When Man Utd score one goal. . . . U can always bet they would smell blood and go for the jugular.
The 1st goal is always easy for Chelsea to score and after that, they drop their shoulders. . .
U shoulda learnt lessons when Middlesboro visited SB, it seems ur players have a chip on their shoulders.

P.S.  Thank y'all for making it easy for Man Utd. . . . .We can lose at SB and still win the league, how ironic? We make hay while the SUN shines. Tongue

Now all we can do, is pray  Angry

Nevertheless, we have tried this season (considering our ups and downs) and even if we don't make it to the top, we maintained our place infront of the team builders  Smiley

Medube - you know that's not going to happen.
Everton might shock you guys in a way that you won't ever dream of.

Manchester United and Blackburn? - We know for a fact that our boys will try their best. . . . . . that's all we need.

@Mustay

Exactly . . . they played like nothing was at stake. . . I expect us to have done damage to the cross bar since the first half with the number of shots at goal . . it was all jelenke football

@Jackal

I quite agree Grant has done nothing wrong . . . but like I credit his CV with the wins . . I have no choice than to credit him with the defeat. . . but like I said it's not like tactically it was bad.

Well, finally the season cometh to an end.

Man Utd are worthy Champions. Ferguson is like some kind of wine. The older it gets , the better. I have to give it to the old geezer. Who ever came out with the principle of the law of diminshing returns never reckoned with him.

@ nateevs,

For today's result, i blame the attitude of Chelsea players and the crowd itself.

First all, What is it about Chelsea that when u guys score the odd goal, u are contented and u want to sit it out for 90 mins?
It is shocking. . . . .a 1-0 lead keeps the opponents in it as they believe they can nick the odd goal as well and get something out of it.
Man Utd score a goal and opponents should be prepared for relentless wave of attacks as Rooney n Ronaldo would go haywire!!!!
The turgid predictability is also a worry. . . . Your players don't change flanks to confuse defenders. . . Its pathetic!!!!

Lastly, Chelsea fans:
Blimey, who are those 3-piece suit wearing aristocrats occupying the seats at SB. . . .U can tell those lots know little or nothing about football.
Joe Cole has to be urging em to lift the crowd. . . . Drogba does that too everytime. . . . Are they that rigid they can't even cheer their team?
Abrahamovic should reduce ticket fares so that the common man who is passionate about his team can come in and cheer.

Your game can sometimes pass as a burial ceremony. . . . . .so dull, so gloomy!!!! Grin Grin Grin

@ Medube,

Its easy. . . . .If we beat Blackburn, we might prolly take an under-strength team to the bridge as Fergie will be eyeing Barcelona.
However, if we get whupped by Blackburn . . . . Be rest assured Fergie will be bringing ammo to the Bridge to light Roman's ass!!!!!

Manchester United's chances has increased by 10% while ours has reduced to 30%.  If wigan could get an away point from us in d relegation fight, y can't black burn do better in their fight for UEFA place. i don't blame the crowd, many of us are keeping our FINGERS CROSSED, most fans are not presently confident with the team's management. Trust JM, he would urge the crowd to sing songs - a tradition L'pool fans are best at.

grant can't psych the team up. my problem with him is that he doesn't act like HE'S IN CHARGE! DAMN IT! there was LIFE when the camera viewed the Wigan bench compared to ours. I saw Ten Cate complaining when we were a goal up but Mr Grant seemed to be confident with his lone goal. they scored and he realised Sheva could come in. At d 93rd minute! this man is confused and our team is playing like children without a father to show their school's report sheet to.  Shit had better stop happening.
