Every country has its good and bad. But for the sake of image. . . . you just sweep it under the rug. Look at China in the Olympics. Why do you think they only where 10% have seen and 5% actually live in? IMAGE that's why. No one wants to see the bad in their country but be deceived by the good. Because any smart person would know that China is so polluted that you can look directly at the sun and not have to squint your eyes. |

Ask Hannibal. He has been to Houston. There is this street called Bissonett and Bell-Aire. You wouldn't believe that place was ALL WHITE. Now it is flooded with hispanics and those N.Orleans people. I can deal with the latinos because most are doing what they can to provide for their family. But them N.Orleans people are down right raggedy. I'm sorry to say it but they are. If they came into your school acting with attitude, it is because they are actually southern. EXACTLY!NIGERIANS HAVE A STRONG INFERIORITY COMPLEX in general!!you can't even compare them to other africans.Once I saw a nigerian holding the jamaican flag during the carnival,he thought it was cool to be jamaican.look at this forum ,it s aproof of their insecurities ,they are the only africans who like to ape and compare themselves to black americans.They call black americans akatas but they are the only africans who run after akatas girls and marry them especially when they got some success from nba players to whatever.they ape black american style and are very confused about their identity.it'a shame.I'm glad my mom didn't marry one!!the only women who can be with them are desperate akatas girls because their men won't marry them.most akatas women would acknowledge that and most of them feel that their akatas men look far better.a lot of nigerian girls agree. |

There's only a few who act that way, there are countless Nigerians who take great pride in their country all over the world, especially in America (New York City in particular). All from Nigerian Independence Day parade in NYC. Please, don't try and say all us Nigerians don't take pride in our home, because of what you saw in a personal incident. I was going to start a thread on that but changed ma mind on a second thought. you would never see CNN or CBS show anything that's related to poverty in America whereas, there is SERIOUS poverty in America. they project the image of the country so positively without flaws that if you're not living there, you would be thinking America is heaven on earth.
