@ grizzly!!!! o gini? why i na-eplayah8 the guy otu a? giv 2face some credit- great voice, great attitude, greater smile he was THE FACE and THE VOICE in p-boiz anyway and blackface was the brains, faze?, good stage presence, i guess 2face can and will go places if for nufin else, 4 his great charisma as a musician. let's face it, AFRICAN QUEEN could never have been such a hit if black face had sung it. Ricky Martin isnt such a good musician but he had charisma and good management. @drusilla: u in nigeria? how come u never heard 2face until just a few days ago? tell ur dawta she's a queen no doubt and she is welcome to the 2face harem! @shinor i was hesitant to name names when i mentioned 2face's management problems, thanx 4 hittin the nail on the ogungbes' head! kennis should get competent hands to handle management while the ogungbes take the back seat 4 a change and i think dare's got a great video there in ESCALADE but he's not got a unique style to his music. @tunes i heard 2face sing 'holla oyieh' on BBN but i didnt know it was on his nu album. thanx 4 da info. @everyone thanx 4 replies but someone, please say sumfin bout his collabos!

@Carmelily.Thanks hon. I have only heard one collaboration and that was with Beenie man. Good Vybe, nice party atmosphere song. Would sound even better when you've swung a few glasses too many. Well I have to hit the nail on the head again. If 2face had any serious management, they should have sorrounded him with some pretty good song writers. Go and check all of Michael Jackson's hit songs in the 80's and also check who produced them. Quincy Jones. Making hit songs is a multi-dimensional thing. You can have a great voice but have shyte lyrics. You also need a damn good producer. The quality of the stuff produced in Nigeria sometimes doesn't come out right. I used to own a reggae sound system and played all over. What i noticed was whenever i switched from playing a foreign tune to a song that was produced in Naija, the sound quality would drop and i would have to quickly reset the eq and ting. 2Face has got looks, Voice etc going. Get him a good song writer. Let him hang around top studios in the states. Tell you what? Just let him go and live with WYCLEF for 12 months. Am serious.

he should get some form of education first.he finds it difficult to express himself. no hard feelings he has a damn good voice, but he just can't cut it with a limited vocabulary.u need to see all his jingles on MTVbase, he said "my name NA tuface in one of them". bro get ur game tight.

he was THE FACE and THE VOICE in p-boiz anyway and blackface was the brains, faze?, good stage presence, i guess Excuse me? I don't think you know sh*t about music if you don't give faze credit for his voice or maybe you know him only from reading gossip rags. That's a shame. Listen to "in case you don't know it this na true story"(that's the hook). he should get some form of education first.he finds it difficult to express himself. no hard feelings he has a damn good voice, but he just can't cut it with a limited vocabulary.u need to see all his jingles on MTVbase, he said "my name NA tuface in one of them". bro get your game tight.
You are very correct about his poor command of grammar. But if he gets good songwriters I think he can still be successful.lots of successful singers are really dumb people, but good lyrics and management make them a success. After all not long ago the world fell for two robots who couldn't sing (milli vanilli).

@tianshie: don't even get me started. if u claim 2 know music, u should know that ur so-called "in case u don't know, blah, blah, blah" is Faze's solo project and i admit he is grade 1 on that 1.and i listen 2 it a lot. but we were talking about Faze in p-boiz and not Faze solo as Faze alone. 2face overshadowed the other 2 in p-boiz and they shine better in their solo projects. like i said, faze only had stage presence. his famous soprano squeal in p-boiz tracks is sumfin 2face could easily do.

Ah Peeps i beg to differ here. I totally understand the need for one to speak eloquently and with clarity. But if 2 face chooses to speak pidgin english i don't see anything wrong with it. American Rap artistes don't speak proper English yet they get by. Bob marley and a whole generation of reggae acts from Jamaica have for the last 3 decades or so spoken Jamaican "patois" which the Jamaican form of broken English. They make no apologies about it. Like they say"U either like it or bite it". So if 2 Face wan chat inna pidgin" Mek him Gwaaaannnnnnnnn." As long as he can communicate with his audience. Now am not making an excuse for one not polishing one's self but the medium of expression is entirely at the speaker's discretion.

@shinor: i do agree with u totally aout yhe artiste using whatever language he chooses to express himself, but whae 2face uses "bad good English" (such as i plucked the flowers in the video of OLE, i guess) then there is a problem. it is better 2 use pidgin english than poor english grammar. i dey blow pidgin pass 2baba sef.

@carmelily Just thought I'D add.Faze's famous squeal was actually falsetto. He always sang falsetto for the group, sang the hooks, and was also responsible for modulation. Tuface would have to be a castrato to repeat that feat.
