A word of caution here-judging from the cheap ass website floated by Etisalat or whatever they call themselves you can determine the quality of service they intend to give to Nigerians.Just tried to access a link on the site , specifically the reserve a # link and lo and behold I got this message:  The page cannot be displayed

NCC needs to step up and police the telecoms industry better. We should not allow people to come to our home and take us for a ride. Now every dic and harry want to go into Nigeria telecoms biz.

I am shocked that a company that says its world class willl even dare to flow a non functional website.Your website is like your mouthpiece. It says it all.

Potential subscribersbe warned!!!!!!!!!!

People talk about the 3.75G network in Egypt, but Etisalat does not have a 3g license in Nigeria. They have a sister submarine cable laying company, but there is no talk of laying a cable around Africa. While all this pick your own number rubbish is cute, does anyone here work for or know anyone that works for Etisalat and can tell us about their plans? How do they intend to separate themselves from the pack? Is it cheaper tariffs, free on network call? Cause for me, picking my own number and 300 seconds for life doesn't quite cut it.

@Ogboraph all I am saying is that we don't actually know enough about their plans to warrant such excitement. They are a strong telecoms company, and I know they probably will do great things in Naija. I just want to know more about what they plan on doing.
