Love at First Sight
« on: September 08, 2005, 11:31 AM »

A colleague just came into the office this morning and the following conversation ensued between us.

Colleague: Ken, Good morning

Mee: Good morning sweetheart, how was your night?

Colleague: Fine oo. Ken dear, na wa oo!!

Mee: What's the problem?

Colleague: There was this guy I met inside ABC bus the last time I travelled to Abuja.

Mee: henhen, ride on, I am all ears.

Colleague: He said he loves me and he fell in love with me at first sight and that was why he paid off the person that was suppose to sit beside me. Since then he has been bothering me. He has been sending gifts. The funniest thing happened last night......

Mee : What happened Angry ride on....

Colleague: He spent 3 hours talking to me through his GSM yester night and at the tail end of our converstion he started crying because I have refused to reciprocate his love for me.

Hmmmmmmmm

This issue again?

Well, there is nothing like love @ first sight.
Love is more of an action than a feeling
We only have "attraction at first sight". Cos love is dependent on a lot of things, not just physical attraction.
Several times we trip for girls and when we get closer to know them we "untrip". But we thot we were in love.

Tell your colleague to shine her eyes. From the conversation so far. I can't deduce the guy is a playa. Its not obvious. She should keep him on a platonic level.

Love could make u cry. Lust could make u (pretend to) cry
Love could make u burn time on phone. Lust could make u do same (anything to get to her skirt).

I still manitain that the only proof of love is TIME. Time-test the relationship/friendship. You've been friends for years and he still keeps tellin u if he wants/loves u. Girl He's in love.  Wink
