People hide their age to achieve certain things like get a job, join a football team ,take part in a beauty pageant, or in order to become a model etc.
What i have noticed of late is that the suppose younger girls look so much older than their ages. An 18 year old could pass for a 23 yr old. So even when she says her real age, no one will believe. I have a 20 year old cousin, when we are together people call her madam and just ignore the hell out of me. When she states her name, everyone will be like please spare us. Yet she is is truly 20. so she just says shes 23 to avoid the embarrassment of being told that she looks older than her age.
