England Captainship: Terry Or Steven

After the the dismal performance of the Three Lions in the current World cup. England Captain David Beckham stepped aside(apology IBB) as the Skipper of the Team.

Who is going to be the New Captain?

Is it John Terry or Marvellous Steven Gerrahd?

Chelsea Captain Vs Liverpool Captain.

Both of them had been outstanding for their respective teams and won individuals award as well.

Personally, i dont want my Captain to be given that role because Chelsea will be busy vieing for 5 cups in the coming Season, i dont want unnecessary Distraction for my boy.  

Am praying for Gerrard to take it.
Gerrard is Liverpool while Terry is not Chelsea.

I want Steven Gerrard to take it.

I don't see any problem in Terry taking the captainship, I prefer Gerrard neutral, the captainship might prone distraction in is field of play, which in my case I wouldn't want that to happen, cause already he has a captainship band in Liverpool, and I am very much a liverpool fan .

The issue is that Gerrard would have been a better captain for England than Terry can ever be, it takes more than grit and determination, in this beautiful game called Soccer , you need an extra amount of luck that Gerrard has in abundance apart from the fact that he is a World class player by any standard and has also established himself as a captain fantastique and he can single-handedly deliver a game to whichever team he plays for .

Yet it is understandable that the captainship was given to him based on the numerical strenght of his Chelsea co-players in the English team and the amount of support he will sure get from such players as he gets at the club level
