Does Anyone Love Lafun With Blanched Efo Ewuro (spoilt With Munimuni)here?

WELL I WAS THINKN ABOUT MY GREAT GRAND MUM TODAY,SHE IS 106 TODAY AND I KIND OF MISSED HER COOKN.I LIVED WITH HER FOR 15YRS SOMEWHERE AROUND AKANRAN IN IBADAN,NIGERIA.REMEBERING HER 2DAY MADE ME GO DOWN MEMORY LANE,THE MEMORIES IS SO AMUSING,EVEN THOUGH I STILL FIND IT SO HARD TO BELIEVE SHES STILL AS STRONG AS A FIDDLE
   ANYWAY, IM WONDERN IF ANYONE  HERE LOVES LAFUN(AMALA) WITH BLANCHED BITTERLEAF SOUP,I LOVED  IT SO MUCH THAT AT TIMES  I EAT IT THRICE A DAY THEN, I WAS REALLY WHAT ILL CALL OMO ODO AGBA THEN,COS EVEN BEFORE I COULD THINK OF CLEANIN MY TEETH WITH ORIN OR PAKO IN THE MORNIN ,I WOULD HAVE BEEN SPOILT WITH ALAPA,ADUN,MOSA(DONT NO IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT THAT IS HERE)AND AWON,ALL NIGERIAN , SHLD I CALL IT SNACKS?I JUST ENJOYED  EVERYBIT OF MY STAY WITH HER,TOO BAD I HAD TO LEAVE HER,ITS ALMOST 2YRS I SAW HER LAST  ,I CALL HER IYA MI MEANIN MY MOTHER  IN YORUBA LANGUAGE,SO FUNNY AND AT THE SAME TIME SADDENING,SHE BROUGHT ME UP,ANYTIME I REMEMBER HER I CANT HELP BUT SAY A PRAYER FOR HER AND I CRY AT TIMES.








SO DO You LIKE AMALA LAFUN OR NOT? 

Is lafun white Amala?? Well, i thought i imagine there was something called lafun, i had it once, a very long time ago and never really liked it.

I love biter leaf soup though, Very scrumptious!!!

I used to help my aunty to 'jo - sieve' the lafun. I loved it best with okoro tho. I preffered lafun to the black amala. THEN!.

ANyways, all this talk about food is making me hungry for some of my aunty's meals.

Waoh! one of my favourite meals is being analysed here, i think i need to vist this food section more often. Well i take lafun also but with "Gbegiri" soup,very delicious, it paves way for easy flowing for the lafun you don't have to swallow it with difficulty, it just flows in naturally.
We seem to share similar childhood backgrounds, i also stayed for some time with my grandma(near grave too). stayed in Oja Igbo the same street where the current blind Olubadan of Ibadan lives now.But u are a "cunk" omo odo agba. I also ate some yoruba snacks like adun, andthere is one called "hausa" or alausa" don't know the spelling.Spent most of the ileya festival with her. The last time she spoke to me, when she was given the phone she placed the phone upside down, so the mouthpeice was in her ear while the speaker in her mouth,it was so funny. I miss her too. here is a picture of my amala but this time with ewedu and some bush meat. Enjoy!!
