A Single Working Lady
« on: July 05, 2006, 10:52 AM »

I hope to be able to pour out thoughts in mind that i may not be able to share with anyone through this diary,

Dear diary, stay close to me ,

Ciao.

050706

Today has been quiet. My boss is not in the office and we decided to take pictures around the office with a volunteer from Pakistan who will be going back to his country next week.

I hear he's been around for like a year now.

Na wah oo, i totally forgot about the muslim Aram and touched him while taking the pix. Very funni,   Cheesy

One guy that we rarely hear his voice in the office had a good laugh and we were able to see his teeth whilst we wait to hear his voice,

I pray the day ends on a lovely note. And one more thing that has been buggling my mind so much is, I want to make more money than my monthly salary,  I'm tired of waiting up for the monthly salary. I'm seriously looking for any business I can do around this town,

God please help me,

It's the last but one day of the working week and I decided to take up some other activities that are in my primary role i.e. business development. This is because I have been consumed with a new project which I am part of in the office and I see that there is no other person that is seriously responsible for business development.

So, in short, today i decided to do check ups on prospective partners that we can approach and called on some of other organisations we had earlier sent letters and brochures to,,  did not get any concrete positive results though

Well, it might just be wrong of me not to mention something i suspected yesterday, let me start from the ripe part of the story,

My boss is a very good person, y'know ver good for a Nigerian boss. He is young, red-blooded and , loves to smile,
He is not exactly what you would describe TDH (tall, dark and handsome) but he is just too nice and i kind of had a crush on him,  (very funi, don't you think?) Of course, I never made this obvious, I am always my officious self around the office. So,  now to yesterday,,  I am beginning to think that there is this other female staff that might just have a crush on him as well,

I am making this inference from a conversation that ensued yesterday in the office while the boss was not around:

A male staff to the other female staff: what activities did you do today in the office?
Female Staff (with all smiles): I smiled at the boss,

And you know diary, she always grabs every opportunity to mention the boss' name,

Maybe it's just my imagination, but I sure will like to tell my boss that he is guilty of smiling TOO MUCH and being soooooo NICE!!!
