Please, wait till your bayern can compete with the big boiz, the last time i checked, you guys played Getafe, Bolton, and St.petersburg . Rubbish club, rubbish league, rubbish players/coach, rubbish fans.

FYI, Lahm will leave your club for Man United, Ribery will leave for Chelsea, Seedoof and Gattuso for Bayern.
Thats how appealing our club/league is to your players.

I don't have to reply you our trophy cabinet speaks for us bayern has won more trophies of any colour more than man Utd so live with that.

Lahm can leave no problem as long as we are getting Barzagli, We have adequate cover for him in Marcell Jansen,   Check out Trophy cabinet, Check our hall of fame check our history that is enough to make Scummites envious but whose fault where were you guys when Bayern was winning all those trophies

Debosky is BACK  Cool

I shall catch up on happenings in the land and get back on track ASAP, I'm certain some cretinous muppets have been on the loose here in my unavoidable absence, its time to weed out the farm, starting with Dayokanu. When you can convincingly beat sides like Bolton, get back to me - a relegation threatened team holding the 'mighty' Bayern to a draw? You seriously need to rethink this infatuation of yours, Bayern may be a great name, but in current footballing terms, I'D pick Lyon over them in a heartbeat.

@ Debosky,

Before u start with Dayokanu, have u seen Kolo Toure's interview on Setanta blaming Gallas for Arsenal's trophyless season?
Just when i thunk i have seen/heard it all then this bombshell. . . . .
Besides, Flamini is close to moving to Juventus. . . . .Like i predicted, these players cannot be with an under-achieving team like the Arses.
Fabgregas also hinted he hopes he would be in Arsenal next season. . . .hope? Wenger is in trouble. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Flamini was offered £50k a week but it seems he's going to Juve.

Fab is on £40k a week.

I still don't understand how those guys relate to other premiership stars who earn double their money with less stress.

@ Akolawole,

Honestly speaking, it baffles me.
This was why Ashley Cole slapped Cesc at the Emirates when the Spaniard attempted to break Ashley's legs. . . .
Its modern day SLAVERY. . . . To play that many games and get paid peanutz? Wenger is a slavemaster. Cheesy Cheesy

Cesc is 20 years oldhow much was CR earning when he was 20?

Cesc is LOVING his footie, he is not focused on cash right now, but on WINNING. Besides, his deal was signed when he was 18, so 40k for an 18 year old is not bad, while wage increases are being negotiated as we speak to increase that. AW said as much - wage increases are planned for most of the young players to keep them content, though we will not play crazy wages like Chelsea do.

Juve offered him only 10k a week more, hardly a staggering increase - I do not think he will leave, but if he does, it is DEFINITELY NOT because of money, Hill-Wood said they are going all out to sign Flamini, his leaving or staying will not be a money issue in my mind, its about where he wants to establish a legacy in a team.

Money is important, but keeping a sustainable structure in place is more reasonable. I know Pires, Ljunberg and Henry were making BIG money at Arsenal, so its not that we are not paying good wages, AW will simply not be coerced into signing stupid deals like the one JT made at Chelsea for the fun of it.

@ Debosky,

Is that the yardstick?
How much was Ronaldo earning at 20? Was Ronaldo this influencial as Cesc when he was 20?
Blimey. . . . .Cesc(to some moronic Gaynners) is the best player in the premiership, innit?
I would expect him to be making around 80-100k pounds at least. . . .How much was Wazza making at 19? Grin Grin Grin

U should have seen his post-match interview on saturday when he copped the Barclays BUBBLY.
All he said was. . . . ."I hope so, i hope i would be in Arsenal next season". How is that for commitment?
He wont leave Arsenal because of the money but the young Spaniard want to win a title which he cannot WIN at Arsenal.
Can't u figure that out? Cesc may join Madrid for 10k per week. . . .all he needs in his CV is titles.

@ Jackal

wages are important, but not the most important thing in my viewCesc is part of a rapidly evolving Arsenal side, though the leap from 4th to 1st was a little too far this time around. Cesc will NOT leave because of wages that I am certain of - AW went outside the fabled wage structure to accomodate Henry, and if he can do that for T14, he'll do even more for Cesc - Arsenal try to improve wages as contracts go on, even when the contracts are not extended. The most important players will get the wages they desire. Once again, unless you're 31 looking for a final payday, no one will leave Arsenal because of wages.

Cuntley Cunt Cashley left because he was a piece of shyte, so don't go making comparisons there.

Forget the post match interview, maybe he was feeling pressured by the press man - in his well thought out comments on arsenal.com he is definitely staying. This silliness will go on for a while around Cesc and we are resigned to it. The important man to keep for me is Flamini most of all after Cesc, because a strong center will propel the team greatly. Hleb? If he wants to leave, let him go now, the earlier the better so we can get a quality replacement for him, though given his 3 years in the squad I'D like him to stay.

In my view, the only players to leave should be Eboue, Diaby, Lehmann and maybe Senderos. Bring in a Huntelaar (if you believe the rumors) a tall and skilled CB, and a Ben Arfa and we'll be set for the season IMO. Read the words of Graham, he should know - he says we needs a goalie (debatable in my view) an established CB, someone on either wing, and someone who can RELIABLY (apologies RVP) team up with Ade to do the business for us.

Cesc will WIN at Arsenal, no doubt in my mind about itI hope the other players see the budding vision and replay the 2/3rds of a season where we excelled and see what a few additions to the core of this team and the added experience of this season can do in the next campaign. Its very bright, and its not far off at all.

Before Abramovich brought in his big bucks, how much was the average salary in the Premiership? Huh Huh
Not every one can be a Chelsea and pay JT( a defender) 135k/week or pay Sheva and Ballack 130k/week(OMG Shocked Shocked)
Heard Evra was on 34k/week and demanded for a wage review to be amongst top earners.I don't know how far the negotiations have gone, but who would have thought he was on that amount/week? Huh Huh
We've paid huge wages in the past-Sol,Th14,Ljungberg,Pires etc and we'll do it again if its absolutely necessary.
Not splashing money like it's going out of fashion and end up making one 'superstar' the captain of the reserve team(Sheva comes to mind).
Meanwhile,Couldn't help but Notice TH14 yesterday.Barca fans were even chanting the familliar HENRY,HENRY,
He was the biggest threat (as per shots at goal) to VDS.

Has it ever occured to AW that it's very possible there's some bottled-up discontent amongst his wards (I mean the quality players and not those I consider as surplus to requirement)arising principally from his inability to beef up the squad and put the players in a better position to compete for laurels?

Ordinarily, when there are talks about a player heading for another club, chances are if the player feels everything is right @ his present club,he'D sacrifice whatever incentive the new club is offering. Why are we not seeing this in the case of Flamini?now Hleb?

AW is a great manager/coach,but I can't say the same of him as a leader because management is doing things right(coaching the team on tip tap footie); leadership is doing the right things(climbing down from your olympian heights of no-buying-of-players) to see the need to buy quality players to beef up the squad and place them in a better stead to compete.
We all have seen what the massive injection of quality players did for Mourinho in Chelski and we see what it's doing for Ferguson in Manure and Ottmar Hitzfeld ofBayern Munchen this season
Benjamin Disraeli once remarked;I must follow the people, are my not their leader?

Monsieur Arsene whatever you do Hleb and Flamini must not go ooh? so what if Flamini wants 55k is it too much for his efforts why do you think people like John Terry and Lampard are ready to die on the pitch obviously its because they are not paid peanuts. And he also has to buy a keeper if Jens is leaving a CB or two if he can get a backup for Clichy that would be nice we also need a backup for Cesc a winger and a striker i might be asking for too much but that is the only way we cna get any trophies next season and believe me one more trophyless season and Wenger will be history

@ JUnit,

Even Peter Hill-Wood two days back admitted that he might lose Flamini to Juventus on a free transfer.
Recall that before then it was just  "speculation" whether Flamsters would leave or not.
In my opinion,Flamster and Fab4 should not be on anything less than GBP70k per week.If AW is not ready to pay them such amount then how will he get the other world class players we have been yearning for as none of them will settle for anything less than the above amount

@Akolawole,

Don't tell me you have joined the likes of Jackal et al in the regular Arsenal bashing? Angry

At Arsenal transfer speculations,

If the "crown  jewel" players want to leave, i hope the board can persuade them otherwise. However, no player is indispensable of a team. Just ask David Beckam or Thierry Henry our former igwe Kiss. Wenger has come out to say he won't add to the squad unless he is able to secure the future of players like Flamini, Helb and Fabregas. I do see sense in that.

So AW should stop complaining about disrespect just because some Gooners up their are telling him the home truth that he blew our chances of winning any silverware this term.

I think he should just get a very neat jotter and a good pen and start writing down the names of players to be offloaded (enough of those his needless swan song about the need to protect the players from losing their self esteem)and world class replacements he MUST buy in the summer for us to be able to compete effectively for silverware next term.

However of all the players beign touted to be within AW's sight,I don't think we need sunderland's Kenwyne Jones.Portsmouth’s Croatian star Niko Kranjcar whom he admitted to be a great fan of and for whom he was reported to be lining up a £15million move is okay.
Finally, despite his recent statement that he was not planning to swoop on David Villa,AW has always admitted his admiration for the Valencia striker. So the rumour that AW is planning a GBP25m move for him is good news,I only hope the Ijebu man will not let his infamous Wengernomics make the whole thing to fall through
