@ kaydee I am still an Ade fan, but all this crap about going to Barca is just that. . . .CRAP. He is good, but nowhere close to being that good, and Barca will NOT ask for him anyways. Hleb isn't going to Barca, the best is that he'll go to Inter, and with a good fee we can get Diego or Samri, depending on what AW wants. Ade is definitely lucky to be a gunner, but his dedication and grit is what keeps him in this Arsenal side. Ade get a pay-rise because his black? If Flamini didn't get a payrise and is WHITE and FRENCH, why would you bring this racism nonsense? It not happening at Arsenal

Flam was offered somffin but he really want to leave the arse. Maybe the offer wasn't good enough for him or he knew the trophy isn't going to come very soon. Ade deserve a pay rise to motivate him more.

Please sell this mofo to Barca and get Dos Santos + money,Let them have Hleb too so we can get more money for Diego. We need midfielders that can shoot.Even if he gets a penalty,Hleb will pass the ball and that Ade really fluked it this season.Aghahowa woulda scored almost the same amount of goals in his position and Torres woulda doubled CR's figure in his shoes. @ Debosky You were rooting for this Ade guy then, what happened? Now You know why i say he's so lucky to be a gunner. What position are you talking about??? Is it the same position Henry and Van Persie struggled to score from last season? I know the next you'll say is 'They were injured' Do you think it's easy for a player to keep off injuries? Believe me, it takes brains to know how to avoid injuries. He's gamestyle of sneaking inbetween defenders is amazing. If that's not technical know-how, then please explain to me Ade has given us aerial power, it's hard for you to find that kind of old fashioned striker. He was alone upfront, even Henry, Tevez and Rooney cannot boast of such qualities. How many goals did Henry score with his head in the whole of his Arsenal career?Go dust your World Cup 2002 DVDs and see how hard it was for Henry to play alone up front. Ade can adapt to an Arsenal Plan-B, he's an asset. Even though out of ten chances, he gets offside five times, misfires four and scores one Tell me what other striker can mysteriously appear in the box-16 when everyone's still playing knockabout?Definitely not Henry, he's a knockabout master too. And what did I hear you saying bout dosSantos? Here you are talking about shootin midfielders and you mention dos Santos? Please pass the blunt to Debosky, at least it's not affecting him too much

It took Drogba three seasons to make it in England.Adebayor has made it in 2 and a half we can criticise him all we want but the guy don try this season he surpassed my expectations and i believe he can do better so selling him is not an option all we have to do is get him backup.Eduardo's injury had a big hand in why we didnt win that league no Manc or Chav can convince me that @kaydee Dos Santos for where? .Abeg we don't need that cat

My sentiments exactly. When Ronaldo was just a trick pony, dribbling when he should make a simple pass, no one wanted him then. Those Spanish clubs are vampires. . . . .They wait for English clubs to develop players and they come dangling their carrots in managers' faces. Wenger should slap 80 million quid on Ade to scare Barca off. Spanish clubs vampires? You can't be serious. Which players did English clubs develop???Adebayor? , He still has to show this season wasnt a one off for him. He still hasnt reached his full potential given his advantages(pace plus height). His positioning at times leaves a lot to be desired.(me being a gunner hater aside) What about Cesc snatched at a young age, Ditto , Giusseppe Rossi, VIncenzo Camilleri, Lupoli. Ronaldo was already developing at Lisbon and if u had seen his games then u would have known it was a matter of time Barca need an aerial option only reason y they r looking at Ade and the Klassy Huntelaar, You don't believe he will be a regular there do you especially if they still have Eto'o and Henry there???

It takes Brains to avoid injuries? Eldee please tell me you're taking the piss I give him credit for his headed goals and 'nack' for being in the 18, but make no mistakes about it - in terms of positional sense, he is the WORST striker on our books - offsides show the evidence clearly. Headed goals, yes, but there's a lot more he needs to add. Even though out of ten chances, he gets offside five times, misfires four and scores one Tell me what other striker can mysteriously appear in the box-16 when everyone's still playing knockabout?Definitely not Henry, he's a knockabout master too. ONE CHANCE out of 10?? When he is not Theo Walcott at 19 or some other kid?? Please much much better is expected by a striker wanting to claim top dog at Arsenal FC - look back at our traditions - Bergkamp, Ian Right, Henry, AnelkaAde obviously needs to step up his game in the missing areas. Rubbish and nonsense - Toure came back from the ACN after being Zaki-lised and still walked straight into the starting line-up, at the expense of Senderos who was having a good run at that moment. Kolo has played virtually every game he's been fit for this seasonapart from being made Captain (he was one of the vice captains - even wearing the band while Bertie was on the pitch) what else does he want? Its bollocks, absolutely no truth at all in that story. Besides, Gallas is an accomplished defender who came with established status - he can't make the same as Gallas just yet. Another one for the rumor mill - sign Veloso? We've been signing that dude for two seasons now - same ol story with no facts at all.

Whats up guys! It is official: You guys have signed Samir Nasri for 15m Euro's. It will be reported tonight. Arsenal will confirm at 7.30pm English Press are not carrying the story at the moment but French paper L'Equipe is carrying the story. If you can read French, here's the link: http://fr.sports.yahoo.com/21052008/53/foot-transferts-nasri-arsenal-c-est-boucle.htmlSo what do you guys think? The boy is very skillful but a bit small and not ever so fast. I remember when he made his debut about 3 years ago and I was like "Who the hell is that!". He has not progressed as I expected since then but still a good signing at a very reasonable price.

@ Ibime Also heard L'equipe has the story. I will wait till he's handed the arsenal jersey. If it's true, good for us, His talent has never been in doubt. 'Zizou junior' as he's called would certainly blossom under AW's wings. but like I said, let's see him at the Press conference first!

The rumor is reaching epic proportions nowit might just be true, but I'll wait till 7:30pm too If its true, then that basically takes care of the 'creative player' signing that AW has been talking about, and likely means no Ben ArfaBuying a player with more bias for the centre makes me see him as a Rozzi/Cesc substitute - coming in for Cesc when he needs a rest or deputising for Rozzi. But before getting carried awaya news report from his agent says the deal is not done quite yet. http://www.soccerway.com/news/2008/May/21/nasri-move-to-arsenal-not-finalised-agentSpeaking of RozziI heard he has finally undergone the surgery with some titanium anchors placed beside his hamstring or is it knee ligaments to prevent future damage. I hope the problem has been solved once and for all - seeing him in full flow on a consistent basis would be very heartwarming. On the CL FinalSince Cashley might be so injured that he can't play I want Chelski to win . That way the bragging will be less from the Scumtwats, but we won't hear word in London though . Still, let Chelski win! Gunner 1915

Samir Nasir is not yet top notch quality and won't be so for at least 2 years. Its the equivalent of signing Mikel Artetaa good player but not the world class player that will win you the league or the UCL.

not yet top notch eh? Would you say Anderson is top notch right now? Or did he not contribute to MU's title charge?
What this Arsenal side needs is not some huge star to come in and 'win' things for us, but just small but vital changes to complete an already well assembled package. I'm not saying Nasri will do that, but the so called 'top notch quality' is not what we need. I doubt if anyone would've said Sagna was top notch qualitythe rest, as they say, is history.

I saw it on Eurosport and online they say Nasri is 24 hours from being a Gunner he is in London right now and should go for 15 million Euros i think its 70% true.I think he is a fantastic buy Cesc would be able to get a breather and they can even be used at the same time all thats left is a Defensive midfielder,Left Winger,Centre Back and a Left Back i hope we can beat Utd to Veloso even though his transfer fee is on the high side
@debosky To hell with being the first team in London to win the UCL i actually want Chelsea to win the Champions League

Samir Nasir is not even on the level of Anderson. That being said,Anderson was brought in as part of a midfield already filled with top quality players.
If Arsenal are to win the League next season, they need a massive injection of new talent.Bringing someone on the level of Mikel Arteta or Steed Malbranque in Nasri won't make much difference in the short term.If Arsenal are not careful, they will slide back to 4th place.

The Arsenal team is not really about a big name signing. As long as we find those people who can play well in their various roles, we will be fine. This team has started to gel, although not well enough at crucial stages of the season, and it would be a shame to break it up just like that. However, we need quality signing this time round. Sometimes, you can't know what is in a packet until you open it, which is why buying "almost" developed, rather than "unknown" future stars may be the way forward. Common Arsene, we can't always be doing buy one, get one half price now

Dr Doom and Gloom, you said Totenham will finish above us in the recently concluded season too. I don't have strength to fight you today. You are lucky. Go and support your team. @arsenal fans i must apologise for the defeat of arsenal @ anfield. it woulda been great to watch arsenal at the final(if only i knew liverpool wont make it to the final) while it was a delight to watch john terry weep like a child before the world, the joy was destroyed when i saw those scummites jumping for joy. what the f--k, how can i support any of those teams in the absence of the great team, the only team worth my attention is arsenal once again, sorry. next yr UCL, I'll give it to the gunners if the reds don't take it as usual so, congrats gunners

@ 4-play We are on the verge of signing Nasri and the first thing u say is that he's not yet top notch quality and won't be for two years. I wonder what u said about Sagna.I am sure u must have said AW was mad!!! and LOL, he's the best right back in the EPL and who said Nasri would be signed to win us the league??? and what even concerns u about who we buy and who we don't buy and also why in God's name do u believe Anderson is better than Nasri?(Thank God Nasri scores, Anderson didn't score one thruout the season) The funny thing is that as soon as Nasri becomes a hit, instead of crediting AW for further developing the player and turning him into a super star, u will say, OOOh, what's the big deal, we have always known Nasri since his days at Marseille, he's played in the CL before bla, bla, bla, bla, RUBBISH! Lastly, the dude's name is Nasri and not Nasir!!!
