yeah right, the quota he added to us coming 4th the season before - a former prolific scorer getting none. 

As far as I'm concerned, the only players I regret AW selling is Robert Pires. He had at least 2 good seasons left in him and remains the best #7 we've ever had apart from Rocastle  .

Almost all the others had lost the passion and drive to play for Arsenal and would never give their all. Simply keeping players is not the point. When their heart is no longer in a club, they have to be shipped out.

Even if a player is good and is NOT committed to giving his best, that lackadaisical attitude will either rub off on other players or cause other forms of rancour in camp. Both are undesirable.

We are obviously not flogging players off simply for being unfit, if not Denilson, RVP and Rosicky would no longer be at AFC.

the only place we need additions are central defence and defensive midfield, the other positions are well stocked and we can swap things around if need be. Arsene has never had this '2 players in each position thing' for the most part, he prefers players who can play multiple roles - Nasri can play central or wide midfield, ditto Ramsey, Vela and Walcott can play as strikers or wingers. In my opinion, if we get the CB replacements sorted out and Kolo+Billy get their act together, we will be good to go.

Mr Vichel, the word failure and "losing the plot" are relative words.
What i consider as failure may be success to some other people and for that, i cannot blame u for calling Arsene Wenger a winner, geddit!!

In ma dictionary, going 3 seasons without a single title is sterling FAILURE and losing the plot.
