Procrastination is a thief of time i do hope Arsene does something before 11:59pm 31st of August
As for Wednesday's game i didnt see it live but from the highlights it seems Theo stole the show but its back to the Prem and nothing except a victory against Newcastle will do
On the UCL draw i think we had a good group i see us picking all our games at home and and getting at least 4 points on our travels. Liverpool's group is the toughest
Why all the racket about Hleb? he is no longer in Arsenal and with what i have seen so far Nasri looks like someone that can give us what we have been missing since Pires left and thats a midfielder with an eye for goal,Hleb has been miserable on that front and in my own opinion had only one good season at Arsenal so yall should just let it rest

A-40 my friend,I am sure the highlights was from the british press Theo's goal was the best but he wasn't the best performer. I thought Djorou,Sagna, Clichy and Nasri were all outstanding. Did u see RVP's miss? Just three days more to go. AW, where's the DMF powerhouse you promised. It had better not be that St Etienne dude!!!

AW has waited for too long to make a signing and he is paying the price

I`m beginning to hate AW`s guts, he seems to be taking us for a ride.
God help him if he does not sign d promised DMF and we under perform.
I still can`t come to terms with AW`s obstinacy.Let him boost our confidence in him by pulling off a sterling performance against Newcastle, otherwise Arsene knows no s**t!!!

you all write as if you don't know wenger, he is an economist. i bet you, he knew all the players he wanted even before the season ended. just continue critisizing he knows whom he would add to the squad, just wait and see all these mess is a calculated act. just try analyzing this;
flamini left without a replacement yet, Hleb left and Nasri arrived, gilberto left & ramsey was signed thus pushing diaby back to into central midfield position. Traore was sent on loan and 16 hrs later Silvestre was signed. and later senseros was loaned. it has been confirmed that barry would stay at Villa, liverpool have signed reira, it was announced that 30m has been made available for wenger.
we would buy a midfielder and striker before the window closes. just relax.

infact the striker we are going buy is PAVLYCHENKO, he was spotted at the hearthrow airport this morning, several hours later he is yet to visist the spurs directors, berbatov was at the training ground with a meeting with the directors to follow. arsene is only using spurs to apve way for him to complete his sign without any hype. as for the midfielder it might just be Alonzo (although he will not paly @ d champ league) or inler, and a certain un named player from germany was mentioned today. Can some one tell me when the MAn You match is coming UP? and d station thatll be AIRING IT?

Wenger is not looking for a striker. . . . . .He is searching for a defensive midfielder. Pavlychenko in Arsenal?? U wish. Arsenal cannot outmuscle SPURS in the transfer market. U just don't have the spending power.

I disagree We can outmuscle the spuds anyday. Maybe u should say that AW doesn't want to spend. How much will Pavlychenko cost anyway? If we could spend that much on Reyes, we could buy Pavlychenko and Arshavin together I just feel sorry for the Spuds. Me thinks even if they got Kaka and Messi to play for them, they would still be a mid table team. Berba,Dos Santos,Modric,Jenas etc yet,

Spurs? Let them sign the whole of Zenit - they'll still be second rate in North London. We don't need Pavyluchenko - he is the white Adebayor, miss 100 chances and score one. If we buy another player like that, I might have to send an assassin to take out one of them immediately. 3 days to go. . . . . ALL WE ARE SAYING, GIVE US DMF!!! Gunner 1915

Everyone is shouting DMF what about a creative one as well?
If Fabregas is injured, who else will play his role??
We need also a creative midfielder because Denilson is not cutting it for me as cover for Fabregas.

Denilson is good enough for that role in my opinion, when Song came on for Fabregas, he went forward more, and was able to bring that assist. The key is getting someone who has the energy to work hard in midfield for 35+ games a season, if we have that, I think Denilson is an adequate back up. The unfortunate thing for him last season was that he had many injuries that disrupted his season, i think he's going to be more instrumental this time around. DMF and I will fancy our chances, lets see how the current players pan out till January so we can see whether further additions are required.

Vieira (m)

Have you seen Denilson play recently???
He looks burnt out.
He gives the ball away a lot.
And he does not spark the team at all!
If he is the back up to fabregas for the whole season then we better pray Fabregas is not injured o! Denilson is not adequate at all at the moment.
I think he seems stage struck by the idea of being the heart beat of the team and cannot cope.

I don't think so, his confidence suffered no doubt, but as the game wore on he got better. I still think he can do the job. He's shown he can be creative and make assists, but as the DMF, he obviously struggles, hence the need for a new player to fill that role, with Song deputising. Denilson has bags of talent/potential, and this tough couple of games will help him in the long run. He definitely didn't look star struck towards the end of the game with Twente.

LOL! Twente is not West Brom or Newcastle o!
They were pretty toothless.
and he got better when he realised they were crap!

Wassup guys!
As a gunner supporter, its true I ve been raving about experienced signings on top of our usual "kids" and well we got one but wait why Silvestre? I can feel the rumblings of unholy alliance between AW and Sir alex in the offing.I don't know if am to call Fergie a gentleman or what!Contrary to popular belief he has given us Silvestre.I have never read or heard anywhere a player has before crossed from united to Arsenal and given the hitherto healthy rivalry between the two,I have questions to ask.
The veterans can answer me if they are here guys like Vieira and Co. I mean those who can read the mind of monsieur Wenger because its a herculean task for me.He signs a 17 year old then goes out and signs a guy almost double the age.
1.Why did Fergie sell a player to a title rival or is Arsenal not considered a threat anymore?
2.Why wenger for the first time at Arsenal buy a player past his peak?
3.Would Wenger have bought Silvestre if he weren't French?
4.Has he come as cover defence or to play regularly?
Guys! answer me please. I will support Arsenal even if we go bottom ten,I still love them and my team forever.

Where is the money?? The only reason players want to play under Wenger is Arsenal's tradition. . . . nuthing else!!! What is Wenger's spending power today with the credit crunch tearing the Emirates apart. Your last throw of the dice is getting a 5 million DMF from Peru or Mozambique. If we could spend that much on Reyes, we could buy Pavlychenko and Arshavin together I just feel sorry for the Spuds. Me thinks even if they got Kaka and Messi to play for them, they would still be a mid table team. Berba,Dos Santos,Modric,Jenas etc yet, Wenger spent 10.5 million on Reyes. . . . . .Coulda reached (17 mil)With the add-ons depending on Arsenal's success in the league/UEFA. Arsenal have been trophyless ever since which means Wenger didn't really pay a lot on Reyes/ SPURS should be okay. . . . . .The Berbatov saga has clearly disrupted their dressing room and it should be sorted this week. I still think SPURS will do well this season.

The diamond dealer says we can buy a 30m player if we want. . . . I am inclined to believe him over Jackal. Time IS running out, the later it gets, the more likely we might end the transfer window without any new incoming players.

Your accountants said there was 70 million pounds to be spent last year september. . . . Wenger came out this summer to say it was a charade and that GAYnners have to sell players every season to balance the accounts. How do u explain this? Alonso is available, Barry is available and your gaffer is not buying? Does it make sense to you? 30 milla me ass. More like 30 million cedis. Justin Hoyte scored an OWN GOAL?? Actually i read that Arsenal do have 30 mil available if AW requests for it,but AW is yet to find the right player. Not sure what exactly he is looking for,but the gist is he hasn't found his 'Mr Right'. Hoyte scored an own goal?? Yikes. Poor chap. Just watched Pompey bury 3 goals in Everton's net, with Everton absolutely helpless to respond. And Everton played home.Terrible I'm here to cheer Arsenal now o. . . oya gaynners, what's ur team line-up looking like?Same against Twente i guess
