To be honest if i was from Ghana i'D come up with lots of legitimate reasons why Ghana is better, because there are lots of reasons why Ghana is better, but i'm not so i'll come up with reasons why naija is better, naija is better because when we finally take off as a nation, and we make full use of our potential we'll be hotter than nevada or Paris, but when Ghana fully takes off they won't match half that speed of growth, and that's a fact not an opinion |

well i am from nigeria and to be honest most of the people i hang around r gahnians i go to alot of ganian partys whn I'm wit them I'm mostly the only naija there and to be honest there is probly jealusy or whatever but its not lik so bad were we want to kill each other becuz i listen to gahnian music and i now the music past the gahna people they be lookin at me lik this pekin be omo gahna but its just i lik to imbrase all cultures and becuz of my 1 gahna friend i am realy into african music now i was be4 but not as much as i am now becuz all my other african friends dey akata so its good to have someone who feels the same way and i found that in my gahnian friend yes ther is prob some jealosy but as long as no1 gets hurt its all good and now they into more naija things becuz of me so we did good for each other but I'm naija all day everyday and i will never forget that or put that be4 any other country so shout out to all my gahnians omo naijas omo yoruba we dey shut this place down na wahhhh for naija kilonshele naija atide!!!!!!!!!!!!! holla

Some Nigerians (in this Forum) are soo jealous and arrogant becuz why is it that the Black Stars could make their way through the World cup and still yall haters want to say they couldnt play. I mean this make no sense. If Nigerians were to be in the Cup I'm 100% sure that Ghanians would support them. hmmmm. my sis schooled in ghana for a year and for 9 months of schooling the vice chancellor seized her admission letter. he didnt hide his reason he said because she was nigerian, but finally it was another ghanaian too who went the extra mile to retrieve it.

and as a matter of fact my friend that went on vacation to ghana they even ask for bribe was demanded in Accra airport just like it used to be in nigeria! and he did notice Ghanaian envy eachother more than anyone else in africa

I'm sorry, I find many Ghanaians in my experience to be very jealous and petty people, especially with eachother. I know there are Nigerians like that also, but not to the same extent (in my experience).
Many times Ghanaians can be friendly, but whether it is genuine or not is another issue. I spent a few years in the Ghanaian community in the Uk and their smile by no means should be taken for an indication that they like you.
As far as criminality, we Nigerians know and will not deny our problem, but Ghanains front like their people are so innocent, please.
I work in the legal field, Ghanaians please don't deceive yourselves. Just because you try and hide something it doesn't mean it no longer exists.There are plenty of Ghanaian fraudsters, thieves, prostitutes and drug smugglers, as well as Nigerian.

As far as Ghana being "better", there are alot of areas where Ghana is doing well and that is good, but why compare a man with a cold, to a man with cancer? If Ghana had one fifth of the continents people to take care of, how would you cope? if you had our tribal and religious issues, would you still be sitting in a place of scorn against Nigeria?
If Nigeria was in Ghana's position, as far as relative peace, good infrastructure, governanance and education, you and I both know we would be doing much better than Ghana is doing now in that same position, just by the sheer tenacity of our people.
Its good that Ghana is doing well, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Ghanaians really are jealous of Nigerians because i kno this Ghanaian girl at my school, she envies me because this Nigerian boy who she liked actually liked me, well he showed some interest in me not her, and although the two of us didn't go out, she still envies me even up to today, she's constantly watches me in class. Even her Ghanaian friends although they say hi to me but i kno that deep down they envy me and i think it's because i'm Nigerian. However, i do know some Ghanaians which are safe, so then again we shouldn't generalize the whole nation[size=8pt][/size].

Nigeria is not overated, if anything it's underated, but let's get some facts right sha (1). Ghana does have a better standard of living (2) If a survey was made most people would choose to live in Ghana (3) But the above points do not make Ghanan more succesful (4) Nigeria has by far more potential than Ghana (5) If Nigeria get's political stability then Ghana will be getting Aid from Nigeria (6) Ghana has better Electricity, but Nigeria has more capacity and potential for Energy (7) Nigeria has more skilled and professional workers than Ghana (a lot of them are just abroad that's all) Some people say that Ghanians are more trustworthy and that a lot of Nigerians are corrupt and invloved in 419, but these things/issues are only a product of Poverty and as long as Poverty can be reduced then there will be anspace for devlopment and that is paramount.
