many times the west(aka whites) have been blamed for and accused of racism.but on a critical analysis i think it is a case of kettle calling pot black. among the black race, there is even some form of internal racism. some people think they are light skinned and thus superior. this erronous theory began to gain ground and people started to "bleach" their skin. in iboland, there is this case osu caste system. to be honest i have yet to study the system well but i do know that there are ibos who are regarded as inferior in iboland. they cant marry non osus or trade freely with their fellow ibos. i ask, is this not racism. internal racism. what of good old tribalism. which has been displayed even on nairaland. is it not a form of racism. we accuse the western police of being racist, but we often forget too easily that our own police treats us worse. we should remove the log in our eyes 1st then we can see clearly enough to call some other people racist your thots are welcome thanx toshmann  |

Racism in a way is a natural instinct that allows for the survival of our own kind e.g I can't stand a naked pale body but seriously turned on by a naked female of colour, this ensures that I'll get a black spouse and have black children, now would I not have chosen based on the colour of their skin, yes I have, I have met many a pale person of good character and descency but because there was no color on their bum I did not choose them, I know it sounds ridiculous but thats what racism is, choosing or denying purely because of the tone of their skin, so in a way its a natural instinct but you just have to learn to treat all people equal e.g I wouldn't not give a job to someone just because the've got pale skin.  |

We are not all guilty of Racism,people react to racist acts and views by being defensive whenever they face the Racist or anyone who looks like him.
My earliest understanding of Racism was when I watched the Roots series and the Nelson Mandela movie,can't remember whats its called now.before than I never thought of hate to-wards the white race.
I know that white people hate black people without ever meeting one or having any confrontation with a black man.On the other you'll be hard pressed to find a black man sitting in his hut some where in Africa full of hate to-wards Europeans,Asians etc without having issues with them.
There is Reverse Racism,where you react negatively to-wards Whites due to Racist acts that you have experienced.

To Toshman I have been to all Conner's of the world, I 've been to the whole of the western world including your UK, I 've been to the whole of eastern Europe and ASIA, I ve hard one thing or the other to do with every race on this planet, I ve been attacked by racist more than 500 times and every of the whole attacks were all carried out by white men, not Asians, no other race what so ever but white people, no other race has ever looked down on me, even all the Asian I 've met showed me brother hood. If you are a black person living in the UK which I know you are not, you are not qualified to talk of racism as it is today, in the past may be you can, but today everybody in the UK live in pretext, if you are a black British, I don't even have anytime to talk with you, cause they are the most pathetic set of black people I 've ever met, the only thing they do in the UK is to kiss white people asses 24/7. What we have in Nigeria or any African country is no Racism, can a YORUBA man see an IBO man and start to beat him up just because he is an IBO man? no, or can an IBO man see a Yoruba man and start to beat him up just because he is a YORUBA, no. what we have in the nortern Nigeria are few bunch of Idiots, brain washed by religion, take away the Muslim religion from them, they are as normal as any body.

Why we have problem of tribes rising against another tribe in Africa is because of the effect of colonialism, most of all these tribes are sourposed to be countries of there own, look at the UK, you are living in, the English are just a tribe, so are the Welsh, the Scottish and the Irish, but in the UK all this tribes are autonomous countries, which is why the English team went to the world cup this year and the Irish were not there. the only thing that can solve the problem we have in Africa is to reshuffle all the contries created by those colonial fools and create countries by tribes and there affiliates. This tribal problem is not only in Africa, look at what happened in Yugoslavia, but they sorted the problem by dividing the country, and now they can relate with each others as Europeans. To stop this problems we must take some drastic measures, so if you are black like you claimed, wise up, but if you are white, may GOD change you, stop confusing our people, the white man is not only a racist but the devil's incarnate. |
